Rosalie didn't know how long she had been trapped here—was it a month, two months, or even five or ten years? She had lost track of time.
Since the last time she hurt Sebastian, she had been tied up. Even when she went to the bathroom, someone was watching her, holding onto the rope. She had been stripped of all dignity.
But as far as she was concerned, Sebastian had no dignity left as well. Even the most crucial pride of a man had been wounded by her bite, leaving him too afraid to touch her for a long time. This was something he would remember for a lifetime.
Since that incident, Sebastian would occasionally come by to take a glance at her, but he didn't sleep in the same bed with her anymore. He wanted to protect his manhood and needed time to recover.
This was fine with Rosalie. Though she was tied up, at least she no longer had to sleep with Sebastian.
At that moment, Rosalie heard a voice in her ear. "Mom."
Turning her head at the sound, Rosalie saw Nana being wheeled in on a wheelchair.
Rosalie wanted to go over, but the distance was too great. She took a few steps forward but was pulled back. She could only sit by the bed.
Nana was wearing a dress. The empty spot where her right leg used to be was glaring.
Her lower leg was still wrapped in bandages, not yet fully healed. Her little face looked pale and weary, missing the lively spark it once had.
"Mr. Carter asked me to push Nana over so you could see her. Now that you have, I'll take her away," said the bodyguard before pushing Nana back out.
Nana turned her head, crying out, "Mom!"
Rosalie wanted to chase after them, but she was powerless.
Sebastian was doing this on purpose—he was torturing her.
But she didn't dare show that she cared for Nana. She feared that Sebastian would use it against her and threaten her again.
At dinner time, the servant brought the dinner as usual and placed it on the table.
Rosalie noticed that there was a lot of food today—too much for her to eat alone, like it was double the portion.
Just then, Sebastian walked in and told the servant, "You can leave."

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
