Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 615

Lily smiled faintly. "Do you really think so?"

Rosalie nodded. "Yes, really."

"Don’t you feel jealous? After all, you’re his wife, even if you two are…"

Rosalie laughed.

"What’s there to be jealous of? Don’t worry, I’m not jealous. After all, we’re not a real married couple. I actually hope he finds a girl who’s right for him. Miss Yancey, I think you’re really suitable for him. No wonder he likes you so much. When he mentioned you to me before, he was both fond and sad. I can understand his feelings; that’s what it’s like to like someone."

Lily felt a bit awkward, and didn’t know how to respond to Rosalie.

This silly girl! Sebastian clearly liked Rosalie, not Lily. If Sebastian liked Lily, she wouldn't have rejected him. No one could reject him—except for Rosalie.

"Miss Yancey?" Rosalie asked. "Is there a problem? Please let me know, and I’ll help you with it. Or are you feeling unwell?"

"It’s nothing," Lily said. "I just think you two are quite suitable for each other. Maybe… Maybe he doesn’t like me as much as you imagine. Have you ever considered that he might prefer being with you?"

Rosalie looked stunned, her smile faltering a bit. "Miss Yancey, please don’t misunderstand. Sebastian and I are just…"

"Miss Young, I want you to answer me honestly. Don’t you think he enjoys being with you?"

Rosalie sighed softly. "He treats me very well, but he’s currently suffering from amnesia. He probably mistook reliance for love."

Hearing this, Lily thought back to what Sebastian had said before dinner. He was right—he had already guessed what Rosalie would say. No wonder he didn’t dare to reveal his true feelings to Rosalie.

How could he? This woman was destined to reject him.
