Everyone was searching for Rosalie.

On the Carters’ side, Christopher and Sebastian were tireless in their efforts to rescue Rosalie. However, the truck loaded with money went on a wild goose chase and drove to many places which all ended up incorrect.

The abductors were adept at preventing themselves from being caught. They were sly and cunning. Out of fear the police would be called, they deliberately Christopher and Sebastian them fake addresses to test them and also prevent them from distinguishing the genuine location from the fake.

Christopher and Sebastian were furious, but couldn’t do anything about it. All they could do was to be led by the nose by the abductors.

On Theodore’s end, he used all of his network and resources to locate Rosalie, analyzed all surveillance footage and searched every possible place, expanding his search parameters again and again.

He had the list of abductors from Laila, and found out who they were. He also seized everyone related to the abductors, and interrogated every one of them.

“Mr. Spencer, bad news!” Yuvan came running over and handed him a laptop. “Look at this!”

Theodore saw the news on the laptop, noting that news of Rosalie being kidnapped had become viral. The whole nation was now aware of the kidnapping, and the police had been activated.

Theodore yelled in fury, “Who called the police?”

Everyone lowered their heads; none of them dared to answer.

Theodore threw the laptop to the ground, and smashed it to pieces. “Take down every single article online, quick!”

“Got it,” Yuvan said before leaving to do so.

Suffocating hopelessness filled Theodore’s eyes.

“Rose…”

The abductors must have found out about the news. If they were angered, they certainly wouldn’t spare Rosalie.

Theodore didn’t want to keep his hopes up. He knew what would happen to a woman in the hands of these vicious and wicked thugs.

Damn it. If he found out who called the police, he would never spare the person!

“Mr. Spencer, we interrogated everyone related to the abductors and analyzed all the surveillance footage from all possible routes. We identified a few places where Ms. Young is likely to be held captive.”

Theodore immediately instructed them, “Surround those places.”

“Damn it. How dare they call the police! How insolent of them, treating my words as hot air!” one of the abductors yelled furiously.

The door opened and a few men walked in, approaching Rosalie. She was hauled up, and flung hard back on the ground.
