“It’s so lively in here. Am I interrupting something?”
A man’s voice sounded from the door.
The men stopped whatever they were doing, and turned to look at the man at the door.
He was wearing a black shirt, a bonnet, and a black mask. He leaned leisurely against the door frame, and spoke in a low voice.
The abductor asked fiercely, “Who the hell are you?”
He seemed to be all alone, but he didn’t look like the police, given the clothes he was wearing.
The man in black walked over slowly. “So many burly men bullying one lady. How shameful.”
Rosalie’s eyes widened as she looked doubtfully at the man. The aura he exuded felt familiar, as if she had met him before.
“Damn it, are you tired of living? Seize him!” The chief of the gang pointed angrily at the man in black.
Some of the thugs pulled out their knives and charged forward to seize the man in black, who leisurely pulled out a gun from his waist and shot upward twice.
The thugs took a few steps back in fright.
He had a gun! Who was he?
The man pointed the gun at the abductor, and said irritably, “I’ll give you five seconds. Crawl over there and kneel.”
He tilted his head toward the right, and gave them direction.
The thugs turned to look at their chief, all of them not daring to move a muscle.
A bullet hit the chief abductor in his knee with a bam.
“Ahh!”

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
