Laila's words made Rosalie feel increasingly disgusted. She was glad she hadn't given in. Such a person was unworthy of any sympathy.
"If it weren't for me, would you have been able to live the life of a wealthy lady or to have a good life? You wouldn't even lend me money and just watched me fall into trouble. You've wronged me! What did I ever do to deserve this? You brought this on yourself!"
Laila, who was desperate now, glared at Rosalie menacingly.
"You're so stingy! Even though you have so much money, you wouldn't lend me any. You were the one who wanted to harm me first!"
Rosalie snorted coldly. "Say whatever you like. You won't have a good ending."
Rosalie then ignored her.
Laila struggled to get up from the ground and move toward Rosalie, but the man blocked her path. His hands on his hips, he looked down at her.
"What, do you want to hit her?"
He raised his fist, ready to hit her.
Laila fell to the ground with a thud. She covered her head, and curled up in the corner in fear.
Crying, she begged, "Please spare me! I beg you! I'll be your servant in the future. I beg you!"
Laila had always been someone without boundaries. As long as she could live, she would agree to anything.
"Your niece doesn't even value you being a servant. Now you come begging me—what can I say? You're disobedient. Who knows when you'll betray your master?" He squatted down/ "What will you do if your niece won't help you?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
