Rosalie didn't care about what Laila said, except the one thing regarding her not being her parents' biological child.
"Stop it!" Rosalie shouted at the man.
The man retracted the foot he had just raised.
After putting his foot down, he felt a bit frustrated. He seemed to be a bit confused about his role. He was a kidnapper, so why should he listen to his hostage? It was annoying! He also had to avoid swearing, lest it affect his image.
‘Forget it,’ he thought.
He would just listen and not be petty with women. He still had to listen to Rosalie.
Rosalie immediately said, "Laila, you said I'm not my parents' biological child. Why should I believe you? It sounds like you're just saying that out of desperation. You have no evidence."
"What evidence do you need? You're not their biological child!" Laila's voice trembled. "If you don't believe it, you can do a DNA test. If you're truly my brother's biological daughter, then we have a blood relation. If not, the DNA test will show that!"
Laila suddenly had a flash of inspiration. Maybe this was her way to stay alive a bit longer. If Rosalie wanted a DNA test, she would have more time to live.
"Oh, you're such a clever girl," the man mocked. "Are you trying to buy time?"
Laila was terrified, as if she had seen a ghost. "Rosalie asked for evidence. I'm just providing it."
The man approached Rosalie. "So, do you want to do a DNA test with her?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
