Rosalie nodded. "Yes."
Sebastian felt a pang of distress. Since she had met Theodore, what exactly did they talk about? Would Theodore have said bad things about him? If he revealed that matter…
Sebastian struggled to find an excuse, and how to explain this to Rosalie. He mustn't let Theodore harm their relationship.
"Rose, what did you talk about?"
Sebastian tried to keep his tone calm. He couldn't appear too anxious when he didn't have all the information. If he seemed too eager, it would make him seem guilty. He was not at fault. Theodore deserved it!
Rosalie looked up at him with sadness. "Even though I went to see him, it's like… I didn't see him at all."
Sebastian was taken aback. "So, did you meet him or not?"
Rosalie looked exhausted. "I went to find him, and when I reached his ward, he didn't want to let me in. I could only speak to him through the door, but he didn't respond for a long time. In the end, I could only leave after telling him everything I wanted to say."
As she spoke, Rosalie felt a sharp pain in her heart. She placed her hand over her chest. "He didn't want to see me or talk to me. I really wanted to push the door open and go in, but I couldn't. He didn't want to see me in the first place, and if I forced my way in, he'd surely hate me even more."
Sebastian let out a quiet sigh of relief. It seemed that they had not met after all.
It was strange. Could Theodore truly hated Rosalie and refused to see or respond to her?
Sebastian's lips curled into a barely noticeable smile. It seemed the relationship between Theodore and Rosalie was indeed over.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
