Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 740

“Hahaha…” Sydney chuckled. “The cheek of you to even bring it up! You impregnated Xyla Jackson when I was pregnant. When I gave birth to my child, he died before I even had a chance to see him. You killed him because you were afraid the Jacksons would be upset!”

“I didn’t kill him! He’s my child too. How could I possibly kill him?!” Geoffrey yelled.

The thought of Sydney seeing him as the murderer who killed their baby felt like a knife piercing through his heart. But if Sydney refused to believe him, it was pointless no matter how much he explained. What’s more, he couldn’t tell her the truth about what happened back then.

“Haha…”

Sydney laughed like a madwoman.

“If you didn’t kill our baby, how did he die? He was perfectly fine during the check-up, but he died the moment he was born.

“Geoffrey Carter! Not only did you abandon me to marry into a rich family for the sake of your career prospects, but you even killed your own child so that your plans wouldn’t be jeopardized! You’re inhumane!”

Sydney wiped the tears on her face hard. “I don’t want to be in the same car as you. Let me out. Let me out right now!”

“Our baby didn’t die,” Geoffrey said, finally revealing the secret he had been hiding for so many years.

“What did you say?” Sydney was stunned as she stared at Geoffrey in disbelief. She grabbed Geoffrey’s arm. “Say that again! Geoffrey Carter, say that again!”

“I’ll tell you the whole truth, but not here. If you want to know the truth, stay quiet. If we got into an accident, you’ll never find out the truth.”

Sydney wiped the tears from her face. “You’re lying to me. The baby’s dead.”

“He’s not.”

“Then where is he?”

Instead of answering her, Geoffrey stepped on the accelerator and the car sped forward.

He drove Sydney to his private villa and held her hand all the way to his room, where he flung her hard on the bed.

Sydney sat up on the bed and charged at him, grabbing his collar.

“Can you tell me now? If the baby isn’t dead, where is he?”
