Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 739

Geoffrey looked at Sebastian in shock.

“Are you crazy? You want to die with her?!”

“That’s right. If she dies, I’ll die with her.”

Rosalie had become all of his life.

“You…” Geoffrey pointed a finger furiously at Sebastian. “There are so many women in this world, why must you…”

Geoffrey felt a cold gaze piercing through him. He turned around, and met Sydney's bloodshot eyes.

Sydney gave Geoffrey a tight slap. Her eyes were filled with hatred and anger.

Sebastian was shocked to see his father getting slapped. “It’s enough that you slap me, but how dare you slap my father too, you crazy woman! Don’t think that we’re afraid of you just because you have the Spencers backing you up!”

“You father and son sing the same tune! No matter how nicely you put it, women are just objects that you can change out anytime to you. It doesn’t even matter to you, even if they die.”

Sydney wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes.

“But I’m telling you,” she went on, “if Rose dies, I’ll make sure the entire Carter family suffers!”

She turned to leave.

This father-and-son pair made her feel so suffocated, she was worried that she might lose control of herself if she were to stay any longer.

Sebastian glanced at his father. It was his first time seeing his father get slapped. He couldn’t believe that this woman dared to hit his father.

Yet, his father didn’t seem all that angry. He saw a tinge of disappointment in his father’s eyes, perhaps even a smudge of guilt.

“Dad, are you alright?”

Geoffrey seemed to be in a daze.

“Dad, do you know Sydney Harper?”

Sebastian somehow sensed that there was something inexplicable between Sydney and his father.

“Seb, don’t blame her. She doesn’t know what’s happening.”
