The mention of Theodore’s name made Geoffrey’s eyes burn with rage.
“You’re still thinking about Wesley’s son at a time like this! Isn’t Seb your son, too? You cruelly called him a bastard, but he’s your biological son! Do you not feel even a tinge of guilt?”
“It’s all your fault! Had you told me about this earlier, none of this would have happened! Can’t you see the monster you’ve raised? He’s as selfish and wicked as you are!” Sydney yelled.
“He’s my son! Why can’t he be like me? At the very least, I kept him by my side and raised him as a son of the Carter family. Even Xyla never laid a finger on him! Has Wesley ever taken care of Theodore? He fooled around with other women, and didn't even care to raise his own son!”
“Geoffrey Carter, are you showing off now? You were the one who snatched my son away from me! The cheek of you to claim that you raised him! How could you be so shameless? You deprived me of the chance to take care of him!”
Sydney hated Geoffrey to the core.
“Will you be willing to take care of him with me? You hated me so much back then, you would have deprived me of the chance to! I had no choice. What else could I do when you refused to let me take care of you? Syd, I was wrong, but you were wrong, too. You were wrong to be so stubborn, and you had a hand in causing Seb and yourself to be separated for so many years.”
He grabbed her arms, and went on, “You should apologize to Seb right now, and make things up to him. If you hadn’t been so stubborn back then, you wouldn’t have lost out on so many years with him. You hit our son, scolded, insulted, and hurt him so deeply, but all you care about is Theodore Spencer. Both of them are your sons. How could you show such preferential treatment between them? That’s too unfair!”
Sydney was in a daze, no longer able to communicate properly with him. “Geoffrey Carter, you’re mad!”
“That’s right, I am mad,” Geoffrey yelled. “I’ve been mad since a long time ago. Do you know how I spent the last 27 years? Living with a woman I don’t love, I’ve been tolerating the agony and missing you every single day!”
“Shut up! Stop talking, stop talking!” Sydney broke him off, agitated.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
