Back at the hospital, Rosalie was supposed to be undergoing a minor surgery.
However, due to her condition, the surgery had become complicated. Given the complications that arose, the surgery took six hours before it finally came to a close.
Sebastian waited to the point of exhaustion, his heart in immense pain at every moment.
When the doctor walked out of the operating theater, Sebastian dashed toward him and asked, “Doctor, how is she?”
The doctor pulled off his mask, and exhaled long and loud. He said with a nod, “The surgery was a success. The mother and child are both safe.”
Sebastian couldn’t believe his ears. He was in a daze as he stared blankly at the doctor.
The doctor raised a hand and waved it in front of Sebastian. “Mr. Carter, are you alright?”
Sebastian suddenly collapsed on the floor with a dull thud.
“Mr. Carter, are you alright?” The doctor reached out to hold him.
“I’m fine,” Sebastian said with a wave of his hand. “I was just too happy.”
He suddenly laughed, and then started crying. The sudden mood swing made him look like a madman in front of the doctor.
He was probably too happy to hear that the mother and child were both safe.
“She’s fine, she’s fine…”
Sebastian wiped his face hard, as if trying to erase the fatigue on his face.
Just then, Rosalie was wheeled out of the operating theater by the medical staff.
Sebastian stood up from the ground, and rushed over. “When will she wake up?”
Rosalie was still unconscious, with the anesthesia still in her bloodstream.
The surgery had exhausted the entire medical team.
The doctor said, “She needs a good rest right now, and will probably wake up tomorrow morning. Take good care of her once she wakes up. She cannot afford to be overworked or get agitated.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
