Yvonne changed the subject. “Oh yes, Seb. Did Dad tell you that he divorced Mom?”
Sebastian looked stunned, and tilted his head. “They’re divorced?”
Yvonne sighed. “Seems like he didn’t tell you about it.”
Sebastian put his spoon down. “Dad probably came today to tell me about it.”
“Seb, what do you think about Dad and Mom’s divorce?”
Sebastian said mildly, “I don’t know. They’re already so advanced in years, so making such a decision shows that they really can’t stand to live like this any longer.”
He had witnessed for himself the state of his parents’ relationship over the years.
Yvonne looked down in disappointment. “But Mom’s very sad. I can sense that she loves Dad very much, but he’s always been cold toward her. Their relationship has been worsening over the years.”
Sebastian asked, “You feel bad for Mom, don’t you?”
Yvonne nodded.
“Yeah. I kept Mom company last night, and she drank a lot. I can sense that there were many things she wanted to tell me, but she didn’t say a single word to me. Maybe she didn’t want to speak ill of Dad. Seb, do you think Dad has a mistress?”
Sebastian knew Geoffrey had been fooling around with other women over the years. However, he couldn’t possibly tell Yvonne about it.
“I almost forgot that you lost your memories and don’t remember a thing from the past. You probably don’t feel anything about Dad and Mom’s divorce,” Yvonne lamented.
“Seriously, I don’t think you were very happy growing up. Dad was very strict with you. He scolds you all the time, while Mom didn’t care much about you and treated you as if you’re an outsider. I admit Mom seems to dote on me more than you, but Dad doesn’t seem to care much about me. You were also under a lot of pressure. Maybe it’s good that you lost your memories. They weren’t that pleasant to begin with.”
“Vonnie,” Sebastian said, “keep Mom company when you have the time. I don’t really remember much from the past, so I don’t feel very close to Dad and Mom. I need to keep Rose company, too. I’ll have to count on you in the future to take care of things at home.”
Yvonne nodded. “Not a problem. It’s my responsibility, too. Seb, just take good care of Rose.”
Sebastian nodded. A thought suddenly came to mind, and he said, “Oh yes. You sent Yerick back home last night. Did anything happen along the way?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
