Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 818

"I am that kind of person." Theodore turned around. "Believe it or not."

He didn't care whether Aurora believed him, or how Cynthia viewed him. He had completely stopped caring. He didn't even care how his family saw him, let alone anyone else.

"No, you're not like that! Theodore, why won't you admit it?" Aurora looked at him in pain. "You're suffering inside. Why won't you acknowledge it? You're not the kind of person you claim to be. There must be a reason for what you did."

"What reason?" Theodore angrily replied. "Why do you always make excuses for men? There's no reason. I betrayed my wife, and I deserve everything I'm going through now! I had it coming!"

Unable to control his anger, Theodore suddenly shouted. Aurora was startled by his outburst, and stared at him with wide eyes.

Realizing that his emotions were out of control, Theodore immediately took a deep breath and said, "I did what I did. Stop making excuses for me. I'm not a good man."

Aurora clenched her fists, tears streaming down her face. "Even if you really did all that, you know now that it was wrong!"

Theodore let out a cold snort. "So what if I know it was wrong? It doesn't matter anymore."

"Doesn't matter?" Aurora repeated. "Mr. Spencer, everyone in this world makes mistakes. People have flaws; no one can do everything perfectly. But as long as you recognize your mistakes and correct them, there's still time to make things right."

"Still time?" Theodore found it amusing. "Then where is the woman I care about now? Has she come back to me?"

Aurora said, "You don't need to keep fixating on her. Now that you know your mistake, you won't make it again next time. I believe you'll meet a better woman."

Hearing the words "a better woman," Theodore seemed to be provoked again. He said coldly, "Aurora, you're so full of yourself. Are you saying the woman I love isn't good enough?"
