Seeing Rosalie covered in blood, even though it wasn't her own, Theodore was shocked. He immediately carried her in his arms and prepared to leave.
"What are you doing? I want to stay here! I have to wait for him!"
"Rose, the surgery will take a long time. Let me take you to wash up first. Once you're clean and changed into fresh clothes, you can wait here for him. When he wakes up and sees you then, he'll feel at ease, okay?"
Rosalie bit her lip and nodded. "Alright."
Theodore found a VIP room for Rosalie. The room was unoccupied. He had someone bring over a set of clean clothes for Rosalie.
The person delivering the clothes was still on their way.
Meanwhile, Rosalie continued to cry.
Theodore held Rosalie in front of the sink, his arms wrapped around her from behind. He turned on the faucet and used a towel to wipe her hands and face.
"Be good and stay still. Let's clean off the blood. It'll be gone soon."
"Theo, there's so much blood… He lost so much blood. Has he lost all of it?" Rosalie was like a child, panicked and at a loss.
"The doctors will give him a blood transfusion. He'll be fine. Rose, open your hands. Let me wipe you down."
Rosalie smelled of blood, and she seemed like she had lost her soul. Theodore was extremely worried about her.
He wiped her hands, arms, and face with the towel, and then reached to unbutton her shirt.
Rosalie's heart skipped a beat, and she immediately regained her senses. Grabbing his hand, she said, "What are you doing?"
Theodore froze for a moment, meeting Rosalie's panicked gaze. Seeing how she rejected him, he suddenly remembered that they were no longer married.
His actions had been purely instinctive, and for a moment, he thought they were still husband and wife. That was why he had undone her buttons and tried to wipe her body with a towel.
But since they weren't married anymore, how could he touch her body?
Yet, he couldn't bring himself to stop holding her.
Rosalie looked at him with tear-filled eyes. After a long pause, she took the towel from him. The white towel was stained with bright red blood.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
