No, she couldn't die.
Aurora grabbed the pills off the floor with trembling hands and stuffed some into her mouth and swallowed them, not caring how dirty the floor was.
The medicine slowly took effect.
She could feel her breath coming back to her. She laid back down on the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.
"I…I won't die. No matter what, I won't die. I'll live. Theo, I'll live till the day I get you. I can't allow you to be with that whore. She has a husband and a baby, and is still trying to seduce you. She's shameless!
"She wants to hurt you and seduce you at the same time. Why would you want a loose woman like her?
"Her mother is probably a cheap whore too, to give birth to such a promiscuous woman like her who has clandestine affairs with any man off the streets!"
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
"Mr. Spencer, you're back!"
Aurora's eyes flew open and she heard footsteps approaching her.
Her heart leaped; she immediately pulled the straps of her gown down, revealing her fair shoulders and the gentle lines of her bosom. She laid down on the bed, her disheveled look making her resemble a ravaged flower. A piteous image indeed.
When Theodore entered the room, he saw pills scattered all over the floor and Aurora lying down on the bed.
Anxiety overtook him and he rushed toward the bed, pulling her into his arms and gently shaking her body.
"Aurora, wake up! Aurora!"
Theodore's eyes were filled with worry and anxiety. He was about to call someone to prepare the car to drive Aurora to the hospital when Aurora's eyes slowly opened.
"My Theo, you're back… You're finally back. It was terrible waiting for you for so long."

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
