“Let me go!” Aurora screamed while struggling against Luca's hold as she stared at me with fear in her eyes.

“I’d like to speak with her, Damon. Please” My mother uttered and I sighed before moving out of the way.

Luca slowly lifted her up so she was kneeling down and facing everyone.

“Why did you try to kill me?” My mother questioned and Aurora scoffed.

“Because I needed you to reach my goal. If you all turned your back on Clara, she would be gone and I'll finally have Damon all to myself” She told us and I could finally see what kind of a man person she was.

“So what Clara said was true? You were the one who made my mother sick in the first place just so you could remain relevant in my life?” As soon as I said that, they all gasped in shock. My mother looked like she was about to cry while my father seemed to be holding back his anger just like I was.

“You have no idea what I can do just to make you mine, Damon. I love you more than that bitch could ever…” Before she could complete her sentence, I punched her across the cheek, not caring if she was a woman and I was going to do so much more.

“I’m going to have fun killing you” I muttered as I straightened up and she was quiet for a while before she started laughing like a maniac.

“You cannot deny the fact that you used to love me before, Damon. I mean you turned on your own brother because of a lie I told, you all did and why is that? Because you loved me. You can deny it all you want but I was your first love, not her! You will always belong to me!” She screamed and I frowned.

Dimitri hadn't raped her and I… how could I have been so blind to believe her over my own blood?

“You lied against my brother? Why?” Delilah questioned and she rolled her eyes.

“He was so head over heels in love with me, I just hated him for it. How could someone like him ever think of falling in love with me? He was pathetic and easy to use and I needed to get rid of him after he found out my secrets. It was so funny watching you all take my side over Dimitri's and the fool didn't say anything because he loved me” She uttered then began to laugh and my frown deepened as I clenched my fist.

“Where is Dimitri?” My mother questioned and I sighed.

“He’s with Clara. I sent her away because I didn't want father or Delilah hurting her so he went with her. He should be heading towards the safe house. I'll go get them after I'm done with this lunatic” I told them and Aurora suddenly began to giggle.

“Clara is with Dimitri? He has finally succeeded in getting her huh?” Aurora said, turning our attention to her.

“What do you mean by that?” I questioned as I took threatening steps towards her.

“You better not waste your time on me and go get your wife before she gets hurt” Aurora said to me and I immediately grabbed onto her face, digging my fingers into her cheek.

“What the fuck do you mean by that? Why would she be in trouble?” I questioned and she flashed me a devious smile.

“Because Dimitri plans to use her as bait. Do you really think he came here for me? He came here for her and now, you've driven her into his arms. Tick tick tick, you're running out of time” She responded then grinned at me before laughing.

“Why does he want to use her as bait? What are you talking about? Answer me!” I growled in her face and shook her head.
