Chapter 588 Tracking Bracelet
A Clumsy Trick
The trick that had been played was truly clumsy.
It was so poorly planned that even Blanche noticed the anomaly.
Since yesterday, she had sensed that something was off about Gilbert. Today, she had “coincidentally” bumped into him again. Blanche was absolutely certain that once they entered the Wolf Hunting Grounds, Gilbert would be up to no good.
Blanche admitted defeat, realizing that she stood no chance against Gilbert. She didn’t want to risk involving Emrys any further.
Just as Blanche was about to speak, she found herself unable to utter a word. Instead, Emrys beat her to it, saying, “Mr. Cunningham is correct. It’s quite a coincidence. Perhaps this is what they call fate. How about we go together?”
This statement struck a chord with Gilbert, who responded with a laugh, “As long as Mr. Lund doesn’t mind, I have no objections.”
“Mr. Cunningham is the son of a guardian. I wouldn’t dare to offend him, let alone despise him!” Emrys replied.
Gilbert held a significantly higher status than Halvard. Halvard had no authority to grant Emrys entry, but Gilbert did. Naturally, the guards didn’t dare to stop him.
Several people passed through the iron gate, entering the Western Wind Wolf Hunting Ground.
This was a relatively untouched forest landscape, and as the name suggested, it was known for the presence of menacing wolves.
Some of these savage wolves were native, born and bred here, while others were captured from different places by the Martial Arts Alliance. None of them had been tamed, making it difficult to change their bloodthirsty nature.
Many members of the Martial Arts Alliance, as well as students from the martial arts academy, enjoyed coming here to gain real combat experience.
Gilbert suggested, “Mr. Lund, how about we have a little competition? Let’s see who can hunt more wolves later. We can treat it as a friendly contest. What do you say?”

“No problem.”
Without hesitation, Emrys nodded in
agreement.
Gilbert handed over a high–tech bracelet, asking, “Do you need to wear the tracking bracelet?”
Usually, those who came to this wolf hunting ground for practical training included grandmasters who had reached the Manifestor level. However, once they had attained this level, no matter how ferocious the wolf pack was, it was difficult to harm them in the slightest.
After releasing their internal energy, those vicious wolves couldn’t even penetrate their protective energy shields, resulting in a loss of training effectiveness.
And so, the Martial Arts Alliance invented this high–tech bracelet capable of detecting internal energy.
After putting on the bracelet, whenever it sensed fluctuations in internal energy, a ring of red lights on the bracelet would illuminate, accompanied by an alert sound. This allowed the wearer to subconsciously control their internal energy.
Emrys took the tracking bracelet without hesitation and wore it on his wrist. Immediately, an electronic prompt sounded, “The wearer’s cultivation base is at the middle phase of Manifestor.”
Emrys feigned surprise, saying, “Does this bracelet also have a voice broadcasting feature?”
“My apologies, I forgot to mention earlier. If Mr. Lund feels offended, I owe you an apology,” Gilbert said with a regretful expression, though his emotions were incredibly complex.
Of course, he did it intentionally. His aim was to test Emrys‘ limits.
This person, Emrys, was too mysterious.
Previously, he had fought Cillian to a draw, revealing his identity as a Temperer grandmaster. However, yesterday, when he repeatedly slapped Halvard, it indicated that he was not, in fact, a Temperer grandmaster.
Naturally, Gilbert was confused.
So, with the help of the internal energy tracking bracelet, Emrys‘ true level was measured. It was the middle phase of Manifestor. Then, how did he manage to draw a tie with.
