Chapter 720 Stein The Demonic Cultivator
Emrys didn’t say that out loud.
He knew that Pascal was already filled with immense guilt.
Pascal answered his own question, “That’s because I witnessed. Stein, your father, drain someone of their energy. I felt such an overwhelming surge of demonic energy, and it was utterly terrifying. I suspected that Stein was a demonic sect cultivator. No, it wasn’t just a suspicion. I was certain of it. He was indeed at demonic sect cultivator, for I had never felt such horrifying malevolence emanating from anyone else. I told Aurelia, advising her to keep her distance from Stein. However, Aurelia didn’t believe me at all. She thought I was merely using this as an excuse to deliberately drive a wedge between them. Come to think of it, it was weird. Apart from that one instance when Stein showed his true colors before me, he was always quite ordinary at all other times. He had a decent appearance, and there wasn’t a single trait of a demonic sect cultivator about him. Therefore, I don’t blame Aurelia for not believing me. My only regret is that I didn’t save the evidence that one time. Right from the start, I knew that if Aurelia continued to get involved with Stein, nothing good would come of it. And in the end, things turned out exactly as I had feared…”
As Pascal spoke, he gradually sank to the ground in agony, cradling his head as he wept bitterly.
Back then, he truly didn’t mean to break up the young lovebirds. He just couldn’t watch his daughter step into her own doom and do nothing.
However, the outcome simply couldn’t be altered.
Aurelia still met her end, and just as Pascal had predicted, she died at the hands of Stein.
Stein was a demonic sect cultivator, after all. When demonic sect cultivators lost control, they simply couldn’t contain their emotions. As a result, the ones who suffered were those close to
them.
This was the inevitable fate of demonic sect cultivators.
In their pursuit of rapid acquisition of immense power, they destined to pay a hefty price, and that would cost them their humanity.

This was why they said demonic cultivators would be condemned by the heavens.
That saying made sense.
Pascal told no one else but Aurelia about Stein being a demonic sect cultivator, or what the cultivation realm referred to as a demonic cultivator, in hopes that she would keep her distance
from Stein.
However, Aurelia did not believe him.
After Aurelia’s death, Pascal never spoke of the matter again to anyone, including his other daughter, Hazel.
That was because if Hazel found out that Stein was a demonic cultivator, she’d certainly prevent Pascal from continuing to

search for Stein.
Demonic cultivators were powerful existences that even the cultivators of upright sects feared. How could Pascal, a mere martial artist, possibly be a match for Stein?
Therefore, if Hazel were to find out about this, she would undoubtedly realize that her father insisted on seeking out Stein because he wanted to fight Stein, putting his life on the line. The likely outcome would be her father meeting his end following the death of her elder sister.
Indeed, this was Pascal’s initial thought.
Even if he couldn’t exact his revenge, he was determined to seek justice for his deceased daughter.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t find Stein anywhere.
