Chosen By The Moon (Dylan) novel Chapter 433

Dylan POV

Warren, was the poster child for sadistic, and completely psychotic tendencies. He took pleasure in everything that caused another person pain. I had witnessed his lack of empathy first hand, in some ways he was worse than Josh. Josh at least wouldn't laugh outright at my misery, sure he would take silent pleasure in the fact that I was breaking underneath his control, but he was nonchalant about his abuse.

Warren however, took pure glee in his torture, he would encourage the behavior attempting to increase anger and enjoyed watching it, like some sick reality TV show.

So when his jaw, found it's place clamped over my arm, I could almost hear his laughter as his teeth tore through my flesh. The blood that began to pour out of my bicep as his mouth continuously chopped down on my skin, was excessive to say the least, that and the Lycan had pulled me completely off my feet, dragging me across the dirt all the while I felt my arm ripping out of its socket.

I yelled out in fear and pain, knowing that if I didn't get the wolf off of me soon it would be really bad to say the least. I scrambled and wiggled my limbs trying to get loose. But it was no use. This time, this Lycan had no intention of letting me go. The further he scraped me on the floor the more my fear spiked.

I wasn't all that sure why I was so scared, I had never feared death or pain before. But now, I wanted nothing more than to survive long enough to see the kings death, if I died before that, then the world really would never treat humans with equality.

I grunted, as my body smacked into a large rock embedded in the grass and flung me into the air. I yelled loudly as I slammed back to the ground with a thud, all the while Oliver clung to my mutilated arm. I attempted to grab any weapon that I could, but my gun was in my hand when impact happened, and my knives had been knocked out of their holsters while my body was being dragged.

I couldn't help but think about my dad, even in that moment.

He was dragged like this... blood smeared on the ground as he went by. The pain he must have been in was something I used to only ever imagine, now though, after everything I had been through, I knew exactly what he felt, I knew exactly why he told me to shoot him.

I had began to accept my fate of dying at Warrens hands, when the Lycan was suddenly tackled by another.

Warrens strong grip on my bicep quickly scraped down the rest of my arm, causing deep gashes as his teeth went, before his jaw’s eventually released my mangled limb.

I screamed out again and clutched my right arm tightly, but the bleeding was far too excessive.

My arm actually radiated a pain I had never felt before, and with it my breath faltered, I was wheezing as I forced my body to stand up, while Warren and Olivers wolf forms fought ferociously next to me.

I commanded my body to fight through the agony, and forced it to move back towards where Josh and Lewis had been engaging in their own battle.

The death toll grew as I hobbled back over the grass, following my own blood trail as I attempted to join the fight once more.
