Hardwick's POV

Files scattered on the table as I looked at it. These are the reports coming back from the border side informing each and every move happening there. These days there are chances for rogues to enter so the security becomes tripled to give more protection. The works were loading and fuck because of this I couldn't even leave the study and meet my mate.

"Fuck" I groaned loudly as I ran my fingers in my hair.

"Fuck" another curse echoed after mind followed by the sound of door opening. Ryan walked in with a gloomy expression.

"What happened to you now?" I asked boringly.

"I shouldn't have tried that," he said again before throwing himself on the chair.

"Try what?" I asked as I gathered the paper on my table.

"Tease"

I looked up frowning. Ryan was still sulking as his face was gloomy. I pushed the paper to the side and focused my attention on him.

"What did you do today?"

"I went to the dining area to grab some water but I met Luna there. She was drinking tea. She asked me about you, and I found it quite funny so I thought to tease her a little bit I never thought...." He paused.

"Thought what?" I raised my eyebrow.

"That I will be choked to death in return"

I burst out laughing. It was funny to think of Ryan being defeated by my mate. Wow, this is really interesting.

"She chokes you?" I asked again.

"Don't laugh at me. I was almost scared. Your mate is a really dangerous woman. What she will say or do is unpredictable. Looking at her doesn't look like she is able to choke but when opens her mouth it's..... Fuck it's better to stay away from her in the future. I don't want to be choked again" he cursed down.

"Well that's your own karma" I grinned at her misery. Ryan is best known for teasing and till now no one dared to teach him a lesson. For me, I was too careless to deal with him but I never expected that my darling would do the work. I put my arms on the table and leaned forward.

"What did she actually do?" I wanted to know more.

"You still want to know about it?" Ryan ceased his eyebrows.

"Why not? I find it more interesting" I smirked.

"She asked me where you are so I teased her if she was missing you"

"Just that?" I frowned, finding it unfinished.

"No, she said she wanted to kiss you desperately that's why she was looking for you" Ryan gritted his teeth.

I was stunned for a moment. She said what? Since when did my mate become this bold? I mean I can understand if it was with me but to say such a thing to Ryan, I can finally understand why Ryan was sulking. For a bold person like him to hear such words from a woman without any hesitation it's kind of...... unexpected. Because this time it's not only him but also me, who is surprised.

"What a……. Heh, I never expected that Luna would say such a thing so boldly. Fuck it was unexpected and so smooth without any hint of hesitation" Ryan suddenly slapped the table and got up from the chair "fuck it man, you really know how to find such mate, so interesting and bold"

My faced turned gloomy "think anything funny about her and I will have your eyeballs to play with"

He rolled his eyes. "I said interesting but I am unable to handle such a bold woman, that's not my type" he waved his hand in the air.

"It's good then" I nodded and got up.

"Your work is done?" He frowned.

"No, but it's not like only you can see her"

He rolled his eyes "Who's stopping you man?"

"You better not barge in with an excuse or I will snap your head from your body then hang it at border side"

"Fuck, you can't threaten me like that" he glared.

"Try me" I smirked.

He looked at me for sometime "nah, I don't have free time for that"

"You are lucky enough" I walked past him.

"Wait, you haven't talked to her? I mean since you already marked her, you two can mind- link you know"

"I blocked the connection for work. If I talk to her then I would get distracted" I replied as I walked towards the door.

"Oh, just remembered. There's three files, finish it before I come back"

"Hell, you can throw the works like that" he yelled but I closed the door ignoring him. I chuckled thinking about his sulking face. Shaking my head, I walked towards the direction of my room. Finally after two days I can meet my girl. It was hard for me to stay away from her and after the morning incident with Ryan I have become more desperate to see her.

Fuck, she must be looking so beautiful when she was saying she wanted to kiss me to Ryan. I felt my body becoming hard. Hell, just thinking about her makes my body come alive.

A grin flashed on my lips when I saw the door of our room. Most of the time she stays there or in the library. But this time I guess, she must be in there. With excitement I walked faster. Once I reached there, I felt my hands itching suddenly. She is inside. I grabbed the door knob and pushed the door open. The first thing I saw was my mate sitting on the couch holding a white paper. Grinning, I walked towards her. Before she could understand anything I grabbed her small figure and hoist it up and pulled her for a rough and passionate kiss.

When the sweet taste of her lips flowed my heart melted and suddenly the racing heart cooled down. I nipped her bottom lips making her moan. I thrust my tongue in her mouth to capture all the sweetness. I can taste the tea she drank because the slight flavour was still lingering in her mouth. God, I was craving for this. I can never get enough of her sweet lips no matter what.

Savannah moaned when I kissed her more roughly. After two days of not meeting her my body became hard and now that she is in my arms, I am reluctant to let her go so easily.

"Mmmmm....." Savannah placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Hardwi- '' I didn't not let it continue but kissed her again, shutting all the words that she was about to say. My tongue massaged the walls of her mouth then I captured her tongue between my teeth and gave a tug making her moan. She fisted her hand as she moaned.

After the satisfied kiss I finally let her go. She was panting, trying to catch her breath. Looks like I almost forgot to let her breath. But what can I do? I missed her so badly and if it was not for the important work I wouldn't have missed her for two days.

"Are you okay?" I asked patting her small back.

She glared at me, "Do I look okay?"

I chuckled "I am sorry but I couldn't help it"

"So you thought to kiss me to death?" She mocked.

I pulled her to my chest "I missed you" I hugged her tightly.

"Don't hug me like this. Are you planning to suffocate me today no matter what?" She mumbled as her face was pressed on my chest.

I laughed and loosened my grip a little "what happened, you were so engrossed in thoughts that you didn't know about my arrival?"
