Come Back, My Ruunaway Bride novel Chapter 31

On the top floor of the hotel, a slender figure stood in front of the big French window. Wearing a light gray casual suit and holding a glass of red wine in his hand, Charles casually tasted it. His eyes had been staring at the figure below. When he saw Albert's intimate behavior with the girl beside her, his eyes inexplicably flashed with coldness.

Edmund pushed the door open and saw Charles drinking again. The corners of his mouth twitched.

"Bro, be easy on your stomach."

Edmund didn't have the courage to take the wine back from his hand, so he could only stare at him with resentment.

Charles looked back at him coldly.

Edmund's heart skipped a beat. He couldn't help but shiver and dared not look at Charles.

Did he do anything wrong today?

Charles drank up the wine in his glass, picked up the grapes beside and casually put them into his mouth.

"Who are the people down there?"

Edmund looked in the direction of Charles's gaze and was confused.

"They must be the students who came to the city for a competition. Why are you interested in them?"

Edmund looked at him strangely. Charles was way too cold-blooded.

Except for Charles's grandma, no one in the Gu family could attract Charles's attention. How could he pay attention to a group of ordinary high school students?

"Well," said Charles, squinting at the figure of Albert, "find a way to get his room next to mine."

Edmund was flabbergasted.

"What? Are you kidding me? "

With a cold smile on his face, Charles asked, "What do you think?"

Edmund felt a chill on his back and waved his hand, "I'm on it."

Although Edmund said so, he was muttering in his heart.

What's wrong with Charles?

The group of people came in with their luggage. The manager of the hotel immediately arranged rooms for them.

Albert stared at the door card in her hand and saw the number on it. It was obvious that it was not on the same floor as Rena's and others'.

Rena also noticed that and couldn't help asking, "Is it possible that the hotel staff made a mistake? Would you like to change it? "

"I'll be fine." Albert put the room card in her pocket casually.

It was not a big deal.

In the hall of the hotel, Edmund was sitting on the sofa, holding a magazine in his hand, but staring at Albert.

Albert was over 1.7 meters tall and wore somewhat old clothes. Her face was very outstanding, especially her eyes, which were very attractive.

How could Charles know this teenager? And he seemed to pay much attention to this person.

The hotel manager stood beside him humbly and said respectfully, "Mr. Su, everything is ready."

Edmund waved his hand, "Keep an eye on that boy. Don't let him disturb the guest in Room Eight."

The hotel manager nodded hurriedly.
