"Why? Why is she? Why is Vivian?"
Margery was rendered totally stunned when seeing Golden staring at the ravishing lady leaning against his chest. He looked so infatuated that he seemed to drown himself in love.
However, Margery still remembered that Vivian should still lie onto the bed in the VIP Ward, paralyzed.
Why was Vivian leaning against the chest of Golden, the nominal husband of Margery?
Was it a miracle? Vivian finally awoke?
She looked with great disbelief at Vivian who slightly raised up her chin while her attractive eyes were glistering. Then she said softly, "Oh, Margery, long time no see. I didn't expect we would meet here. It has been three years, right? When I woke up this morning, I really wanted to meet him. So he asked his chauffeur to send me here. But I am too weak as I have been lying on the bed for the past three years. I couldn't even catch my breath after taking two steps ahead. Golden really felt sorry for seeing me so tired. So he insisted that he would hold me up all the way to the hospital…So we are fine…Margery, please don't be mistaken."
After saying that, Vivian kept gasping for air. She loosened her fair arms wrapping on his neck and tried to get off, "Golden, put me down. I don't want her to be mistaken."
"Don't worry. It's none of her business."
Golden didn't let go of her. Instead, he held her even more tightly. He ignored Margery and bypassed her. Then he strode towards his Bentley, which was only a few meters away from him.
Margery was rendered speechless when hearing his words. Her heart seemed to fall into the abyss.
She stood still and saw Golden bend over carefully to put Vivian into the car. Then he kissed on her cheek gently. Margery felt freezing cold all over. The plain building painted with black and white looked even more suffocating in her eyes at this moment.
However, when she recalled that her loving son was still enduring extreme pain in the operation room while holding great expectation that his daddy would come to see him after operation, she immediately held back her sadness and hurried forward to catch him.
"Wait!"
Margery murmured with her hoarse voice while moving her lips. She felt a bang of pain going all over her body from her heart into every single cell.
Though the sunlight in autumn was warm, she still felt freezing cold while trembling all over.
A trace of weird expression flashed across his face. But Golden still turned a blind eye to it and got her hands off his arm. Then he sat into the car with an emotionless face and said to the chauffeur coldly, "Let's go."
Vivian, who was leaning against his chest, was looking at Margery who was standing outside the car with a heartrending face. A trace of hatred flashed across her eyes. But she still said softly, "Golden, Margery is my cousin. I feel bad to see her being so sad. Just go to see Andrew after sending me to the hospital. After all, he is your son. I don't want others to accuse you of being a cruel dad."
"You have been so kind to others and you have always been concerned with them. But that vicious bitch never views you as her cousin."
Golden raised his head to smooth her hairs. But he was still staring at Margery from the rear mirror, who was standing still, looking weak and feeble. He didn't say anything until quite a while later, "I know what I should do."
