Contract Marriage: My Sweet Bossy Wife novel Chapter 35

As one of those among the upper class, he had been tried of so many pretty ladies he had ever seen.

However, he was still stunned when seeing Jessica’s incredible ravishing appearance. Though he had tried to imagine what she would look like without the mask. He was still greatly amazed when he saw her face.

He reached out his finger to feel her smooth fair skin. His eyes seemed affectionate.

“Are you happy now? Alright, bye!” Jessica suddenly broke away from his hug. She put on the mask and soon disappeared from his sight.

She trotted to the terrace, gasping for fresh air with her hands resting on the fence.

No one had ever seen her face except for her mom before that. Now Lorenzo was the first to see her face in a whole.

Just a while later, she smelt the scent of cigar floating in the air. She turned around and saw a tall man standing in a short distance from her—as expected, it was exactly Lorenzo. Under the night sky, it was hard to tell his expression.

Spots of starlight shed on his body, making him feel mysterious and charming as a grown gentleman. He looked like an emperor living in a royal palace, born to be noble and domineering.

Her heartbeat started to run wild. She wanted to run away, fearing that she would get captured by his charm.

“Are you in a hurry to leave?” his voice sounded gentle and soft. Again, he reached out his slim fingers to hold the cigar and took a big whiff. Then he splashed the smoke onto her face.

“What are you doing? Go away!” she kept coughing and felt choked. Not until quite a while did she catch her breath again. She frowned while staring at him, annoyed. She was about to run away again.

Lorenzo squinted and reached out his hand to take off her mask. But before he could touch it, Jessica slapped off his hand in the air.

“Ouch!” someone bumped Lucian when he just reached the terrace. When he was about to question with tough words, he noticed that it was Jessica.

“Lorenzo, what’s going on? She literally ran away? I thought you both were having a great time inside the room just now…” among all the friends of Lorenzo, Lucian was the youngest. He loved to do some diggings to get gossips, especially those about Lorenzo.

“Mind your own business.” Lorenzo didn’t intend to tell anything. Nor did he care about his will to get some gossips.

“But look at the wrinkles on your shirt…”

Before Lucian could finish, Lorenzo simply walked away.

Jessica’s phone buzzed for a few times ever since she walked away from the terrace to the portal of the hotel. She knew it was Lorenzo. But she didn’t want to answer.

She no longer wanted to get involved in anything about Lorenzo, a man whom she could never afford to challenge.

But nor did she want to go home. Suddenly, she noticed a sightseeing bus nearby, which she had never tried before. A sightseeing trip around the city at night seemed like a pleasing choice at this moment. At the thought of that, she walked over to the stop and beckoned the bus to stop.

As she got on the bus, she took a seat in the last row next to the window. It was actually a kind of habit of hers due to a sense of insecurity.

A series of ringtone sounded again and again. She was overwhelmed with mixed feelings. Meanwhile, the other passengers started to notice that, wondering why she didn’t answer the phone.

Then there came the roar of engine behind the bus, which caught everyone’s eyes again.

“Oh my god, that’s a Lamborghini!”

“Hey, look! That man in burgundy shirt looks so amazing!”

“Oh my god, he literally looks like one of those from the Hollywood! He’s so hot!”
