"Here we are."
Ayisha walked towards the group of the girls who had arrived at the shore of the ocean before her. They paved the way for her as though she was some sort of a distinguished fellow.
She walked to their front and all eyes fell on her.
"Do not look at me."
She said without looking at any of them. Her face glued to the body of water.
"Look at that island. That small island over this part of the ocean."
She took another pause. She could tell that their eyes were off her body. The sizzling heats were no longer there.
"Yes. That's right. That's where Damien is. And if we want to see him, we must find a way to cross the ocean. That's the only way we can get there."
"All sweet all sweet."
There came the criticizing voice. Everyone turned in the direction of the owner of the voice.
"Let's say that we agree that Damien really is on that island, which seems like a fable to me."
"We don't really care what you think? You decided to cast aside your unwanted thoughts when you followed us here. So don't start with the dumb excuse and argument again."
Claire was always ready to attack. Especially if the person speaking was Jada. She was trying to create a stance for herself. She didn't want them owing dark stances to her. Things she couldn't possibly avoid.
Jada glared at her. She didn't seem like someone who was ready to start a fight. She sneered and looked away. When Ayisha was going to continue talking, she snatched the chance again.
"Okay, let's say Damien is there. How do we get there then. How do we get to the island? It's so sweet and lovely to hear the tale but how do we act it? How do we act upon it? Isn't that the most important thing to note?"
She took a pause. If the girls allowed her, Jada was ready to keep talking.
"She has a point. How are we supposed to get to the mountain?"
Mira seconded. There was nothing to be surprised about seeing Mira build a house next to Jada's argument. Wasn't it a reasonable thing to think?
"So, Ayisha what do you say? I'm sure that you are smart enough to know that we won't swim our way through."
"Can any of us even swim?"
Tendzel had seconded Allison who had found a means to have a take on Ayisha.
"Claire can swim. Remember she was the one who saved many of us after we crash-landed."
Evelyn came on. Everyone looked to Claire who wasn't impressed by the compliment. She couldn't for once take her eyes off the island ahead of the ocean.
It seemed like she was the only reason the rest of the girls had been brought there. Her eyes said that she was desperate and wished that she was there already.
"Perhaps the world-class swimmer would put each of us on her back and take us there."
Jada remarked sarcastically. Claire took a glare at her then looked away immediately as though Jada was irrelevant, unworthy of her attention.
Jada pushed her body forward in disprove, ready to take it out but then restrained herself for no reason. She made a weird sound and rolled her eyes at the fiend.
"Some of you are quite dumb though. How could you expect a spec, a beautiful goddess like me to swim across this scary blue ocean?!! Are you dumb or just heartless? What if a shark or whale or --- whatever, is somewhere out there. What then?"
"Then we'd be happy. At least, we won't have to worry about a sassy bitch. Even if you would return, I hope that the shark would bite off those lips of yours so that you can't talk for the rest of your life."
That was Jada taking her chance. It seemed as though the both girls were always ready to hop on any chance that they got to lash out on the other.
"The both of you know that we don't have the time for this. I should really send you all away and get this done myself. Why did I even include you all... why did I bring myself to telling you about this? Sincerely I regret my actions."
Ayisha's eyes were weary and her face pale. It was hard to tell what had taken a toll on her beautiful features. Hard to tell?
"It's not too late to send us back. For all we know, you made this up..."
"Will you shut the fuck up you fucking wench?!!!"
All eyes widened at who had just yelled. Evelyn, glaring at Jada who wouldn't keep quiet for once.
Jada suddenly bursted out laughing.
"Waah... a lot is happening here. Seriously. Are my seeing things or is this for real? Is this the cry baby? Did she just yell at me?"
