They were almost done dealing with Eric’s funeral. They chose to put his tomb beside Arianne’s grandmother since Tiffany claimed that they could accompany each other. Her grandmother liked to nag, so Eric would not feel so bored after all.
They heard that Mr. Nathaniel had gone to Eric’s tomb alone, but no one cared about that, since they did not have to. They just had to pretend that they knew nothing about it.
Mark seemed to be quite dispirited recently. Arianne did not find faults with him either. She was just being responsible, and she took up the roles of a good mother and wife.
