Mary thought for a moment before replying, “Nothing much. He left around 9am this morning. He was playing around with Smore before he left. Nothing seemed unusual.”

Arianne was still worried, so she went to her room and rummaged through everything, but the divorce papers were nowhere to be seen. Arianne did not give up, continuing to search in the study, but she still couldn’t find anything. It seemed that Mark was actually full of empty threats and had no intention of getting a divorce. Otherwise, based on his character, the papers would’ve been completed and handed over to her to sign long ago.

Arianne suddenly realized that something was not right. Something seemed to have changed in her bedroom. She went back to take a good look and found that the bed had been changed. It was much bigger than before, even the headrest having been changed.

Had Mark gotten into a temper after falling down from the bed that morning? Did he think that the existing bed was not big enough?

However, it was a good thing that the bed had been changed. This way, Smore could sleep with her, the bed now big enough for all three of them.

The least she could do was take a step back and sincerely apologise for not informing him about loaning money to Will.

As for his relationship with Janice, it was not a good time for her to bring that up. She should have accepted the fact that Mark was able to attract women very easily when she decided to be with him.
