Mark looked at her when he was finally done with his phone call. “You look terrible.”

Arianne ignored him. She had not been able to sleep the entire night and even cried non-stop. Plus, she had not washed herself before coming downstairs this morning. Therefore, she should very much be looking untidy. Was looking terrible enough to describe the state she was in?
