Darling, Don't Get Rid of Me novel Chapter 129

Hearing this, Harriet stiffened and stubbornly said, “But you have promised me that I could get the answer if only I go to the Star Moon Bar. You shouldn't fail to keep your faith with such a status as Boss Wesley.”

Wesley looked at her levelly and said without expression, “What I said was you should make me satisfied.”

Harriet was furious, gritting her teeth and trying to stay calm, “Was there anything you weren't satisfied with last night? Wasn't I obedient enough?”

Wesley's elongated eyes narrowed slightly, "The man you obedient to was not me!”

Harriet was bewildered, struggling to resist the urge to swear regardless of appearance, continued to say, “But you didn’t stop me though you were on the spot, did you? That meant you tacitly approved, so I have complied with your request, right?

At the same time, Harriet feigned rubbing her knee.

“Boss Wesley, you don’t know how harsh the ice water was! I still remember how chilly it was which made the nerve of my legs numb as if they were broken.

The reason she deliberately mentioned this was that Wesley took care of her last night, which meant the man still cared about her health. Moreover, she suffered so much yesterday, it was unworthy if she didn’t highlight it.

As expected, Wesley pondered for a moment after hearing this. Harriet took advantage of the opportunity, touched her forehead with other hand.

“Alas, the glass of wine was so strong that I still feel dizzy now. But I can stand it for your satisfaction.”

Wesley raised his eyebrows unmoved, "For me? I'm afraid it was for your brother.”

“…” Harriet pursed her lips.

The office fell into a short silence, Harriet couldn’t figure out what was the real meaning of the man.

“Who told you that Colin was taken away by me?” Wesley broke the silence after a long time.

Harriet lowered her head and replied calmly, “I found it out myself.”

In fact, it was Aya who deliberately revealed it to her before the day she left.

After the car accident, Colin naturally felt bad when he heard of the death of Andrew Watson, the father of Aya, so he hurriedly came to Watson’s house to verify the truth.

But Watson family scolded him severely, and then kicked him out without any further words. After calming down, the Watson family reminded that Colin should be responsible for the compensation, so they pursued out and coincidentally saw him being forcibly taken away by a black car.

The logo of the car showed it was a private car commonly used by the Smith family.

Harriet won’t give up following it on though Aya said repeatedly that it was only a guess because she didn’t clearly see it.

“So... was it exactly you who had taken Colin away?” Harriet didn’t want to make puzzling talk any more, pulling Wesley's arm and pleadingly saying, “If you truly took him away, I will ignore what you're going to do to him as long as you give him back.”

Wesley’s eyes became indifferent, "What eligibility do you have to haggle over?

Harriet was frozen, “Yeah, I’m not capable of doing anything for you. You should at least tell me your purpose of taking Colin away. If it's something like needing an organ, I can ...”

The man interrupted her coldly, "If need a kidney, are you willing to donate it for him?”

Harriet’s pupils suddenly constricted, but replying without hesitation, “I do! I’ll agree to anything you say as long as Colin is safe. Wesley, my brother is still young and he has his own life ahead of him, but it doesn't matter to me.”

Looking at the anxious woman with uninformed words in front of him, Wesley’s face got increasingly chill.

“What a touching sibling love!”

Harriet thought the man finally moved, staring at him expectantly and closely, waiting for his response.

However, the man just coldly left a word, “It's not me that took him away.”
