Half a month ago, she was still touched by Wesley's concern for her health. She did not expect that it was because his fiancée had a kidney problem and her blood type was scarce. She happened to have the kidney he was looking for.
Harriet’s heart was broken and she was almost out of breath about the truth. She pinched her collar and left the office. Her wrists were tightly grasped when she entered the corridor.
Wesley pursed his thin lips looking at her pale face, "You knew everything?"
"Yeah, thanks to the nurses' gossip, otherwise I wouldn’t even know the reason to be lie on the operating table." Harriet laughed with sharp cold look, "But I won't donate any kidney!"
She did not have a fancy relationship with Wesley, but she had control over her body! Why she had to give it his fiancée who needed a kidney?
"Harriet, there is too little RH blood type, and it's only you who match Louisa's kidneys." Wesley put his hand in his pocket and looked at her with his dark eyes. "You can make a price."
Making a price?
“Does he think her kidney is a commodity and wants to buy it?”
"I have taken a lot of money from you in the past two years which can cover the expenses for more than ten years." Harriet smiled, "I am not willing to donate my kidney as it is too harmful to me!"
After a pause, she said again, "Wesley, since you have a fiancée, I think our relationship can be ended. If you agree, I will go back and pack things away immediately."
"Harriet." Wesley's face was somber for the refusal from her but he still talked in a good temper, "I won't let you do this if the blood type is not rare."
"This is just your excuse!" Harriet didn't know why she would have the courage to fight against Wesley, "It is possible to find this blood type again from billions of people across the country! You just treat me as a product!"
Wesley said nothing.
He continued to search with kidneys, but Louisa had to undergo surgery sooner or later, so he had to call Harriet over.
Harriet was so outrageous that her lower abdomen was in pain constantly. She couldn't help covering her abdomen with her hand. She turned around and walked only a few steps. Wesley talked with no feeling.
"Harriet, if you leave the hospital now, you can only see your brother in jail tomorrow."
"What?" Harriet turned around and looked at him, calm and indifferent. He just threatened her. She trembled, "Wesley, how did I offend you?"
Wesley just watched her, "As long as you do this surgery, our relationship will end, and you can make any price for that. If you don't, I can just find a reason to put your brother in jail. You won't watch him go to jail as he just woke up, right? "
"Wesley Smith, you ..." Harriet punched her fist fiercely, shaking with anger.
