He had to honestly explain his bravery that night for Harriet's question.
"It was the night you came home, Harriet, please do not worry as I was not injured."
"You were not injured..." Harriet felt furious, and grabbed Colin's ear at once. "You have forgotten everything I told you. Had you have learned enough from your experience?"
"It hurts, Harriet, it hurts..."
Harriet did not loosen his ear as she lost her temper.
At that time, it was just because of being brave that he was beaten by others, and he almost couldn't wake up in his whole life. He just forgot that and had such enthusiasm to be a hero.
"Harriet, my ears are going to be ripped off by you. It really hurts."
"No pain, no memory."
"I won't do it again, trust me."
Harriet would always yield to the weak but not the strong. Her anger decreased when Colin begged for mercy. And they almost arrived to the gate of the community, so she loosened her hand. “If you do it again, I will break your legs and leave you paralyzed in bed in the rest of your life, which is better than being beaten to death by others because of your heroic behaviors."
Harriet recalled inevitably Colin's unconsciousness in the previous three years.
Her tone was dull.
Colin was also upset when he saw Harriet was sad.
"Harriet, I know what you do is for me. I promise I will never do that again."
"I hope you keep in mind what you said."
Harriet did not expect Colin to be an elite. She only hoped that he could be an ordinary person, safe and healthy.
The car was parked downstairs in the community. When Harriet was about to get off, the phone suddenly rang.
It was a strange number, "Hello?"
"Miss Clark, it's me."
The voice over the phone made Harriet froze for a moment as it was the voice of the Keith's housekeeper "Hi, Uncle Nick."
"The thing is..."
Uncle Nick was a bit embarrassing, "Master Keith knew that you finished the shooting yesterday and he wants to visit you. But he has not recovered yet as he was just discharged from the hospital two days ago. The doctor said he should take a peaceful rest.
"Has he been discharged from the hospital? I said I would go and see him last time."
Keith was the hot searching topic because of his gastroenteritis for the last dinner they had. His fans were worried about him so much. It was said that they just thronged the hospital to visit him.
After all, he was sick because of her mistakes, Harriet felt very sorry.
"There are too many people in the hospital which disturbed Master Keith, so he was discharged early. He didn't eat much food after he came home. And he refused to eat directly when I stopped him from going out this morning.
"How does that work?"
"Yeah, that's why I called you, Miss Clark, if it's convenient, could you come and visit Keith? Just persuade him eat anyway."
Harriet frowned as if she went to Keith's house, there may arise some gossips about their relationship.
But it was not quite right to refuse to go as Keith's gastroenteritis was caused by her.
"Okay, then I will go and visit him now."
She thought she could buy a bunch of flowers and did a quick visit. Even she was taken photo by a reporter; she could explain she just visited him as a friend.
Hanging up the phone, Harriet told Colin to go home first, so she drove straight to Miller's house.
As soon as she reached the gate of the Miller family, Uncle Nick greeted her.
The three-storey single-family villa where Keith lived stood on the mountainside of Luxurious Mountain with the best scenery in California. There was courtyard that was specially maintained when she entered the door. There was a fountain in the front yard and a natural hot spring in the back yard. The cost for the maintaining would be huge, not to mention the value of the villa.
Uncle Nick ushered Harriet into the villa, went straight to the lift and arrived Keith's room on the second floor. He talked about the casual topics all the way, "Did Miss Clark need to take a rest as you have driven a distance to get here?"
"It's really a bit far from where I live."
"Well, but it's secluded, so the young master stays here temporarily so as not to be disturbed by fans and reporters."
