A day had passed, but Anika hadn’t called or texted Joshua to apologize.All messages he’d received were

work related.

“Td like to see how long you can keep it this way!”

Joshua threw his phone aside,got up,and walked to the kitchen.

The moment he opened the refrigerator,he froze.

Because in the fridge,along with some food, there were various medicinal herbs piled up.

Joshua randomly picked up a package.

It read, “Five times a day,used to treat infertility.”

Joshua sniffed at the herbs and found their smell unpleasant.

He finally knew how Anika got that smell earlier.

He returned to the master bedroom and went to bed.

He had plans to go golfing with his friend,Valentin,today.

Therefore, Joshua changed into his sportswear in the dressing room early in the morning.
