Chapter 0122
Hector POV
We followed Alpha Marc down his tower block in the lift, by the time we reached the bottom floor, Head Warriors already swarmed the reception area waiting for orders.
We step outside to a sea of fighters ready to follow their alpha’s command. As any fighters should…but did they know they were being sent to potential death because their alpha didn’t like a rejection of arranged marriage.
They didn’t even use vehicles, at his command they began marching out to battle, weaponry at the ready.
Jude and I kept towards the back as Marc rallied his troops. The alliance would love to hear of a member declaring war for personal gain…what was he thinking. Putting an alliance at risk of corruption doubt because he wanted Kaia.
Kaia…why did he damn think he could marry her…he obviously hadn’t been in talks with Beckett for long… she was still married to Than.
We keep walking until we come towards a dense woods, Marc shouting back to us that the contested pack lands were on the other side of the woods.
As I step out of the wooded clearing I expected rogue camps, tents and put together wooden fencing. but what I was witnessing was quite the contrast.
Tall look–out posts made out of strong wood with concrete bases..this was a well guarded community.. not a rogue camp. Jude and I keep by the trees as silent bullets are used to stun the guards on border patrol watch. Once they collapse to the ground, cleverly not being killed as not to alarm their alpha, Marc launches his attack.
Several Shadow Rock fighters are sent forward to breach the border when they are attacked by warriors from the Nightshade Reformed pack as bells start to ring out in the distance. Thankfully someone has raised the alarm.
Marc launches his full attack, sending his fighters towards the low fences that were more for aesthetic purposes, the look–out towers offered the real protection.
With an explosion, a large length of fence is knocked down, fighters gaining access in volume onto the pack grounds.
A blood bath…led by a blood thirsty war leader, that’s the best why to describe it.
They are met by running fighters on the opposite side. trying to defend their grounds. But they were taken off guard, the way they raced…they had been running for some time. They must have been in the central pack grounds.
So many were dead already, as Marc continues pushing his fighters in this blood thirsty battle.
“You aren’t joining?” I raise an eyebrow to him as he now stood beside Jude and I, watching his fighters do all the hard work. He’ll want to reap all the rewards without breaking out into sweat. The worse kind of alpha in my view.
“Any moment now…See there…there she is…” His fingers point at an area as he shifts into a beast of a

wolf and runs towards the fight.
What was he pointing at…then I see it.
White
The White Wolf.
My eyes cant believe it, neither can my lungs…I feel as if the air has been knocked out of me. He was right …there, right before me was the figure of fairy tales,
The white wolf immediately joins the battle. An impressive fighter, it doesn’t take long for me to see Marc’s strategical plan…do not attack the white wolf. He wanted it alive…he wanted to capture her.
Fear strikes through me as the wolf is encircled by a group of fighters, Marc’s wolf leaping over dead bodies to join the inner circle.
I get ready to run but stop when a sandy brown wolf also jumps into the circle, attacking the alpha wolf…. trying to guard the white wolf.
