“I disagree” 

Two starkly different voices echoed in the living room. Donna looked at Kenneth in disbelief. “Are you crazy! Angela’s been cheating on you!” 

Kenneth remained indifferent. “This is something between us. I’d prefer you not to interfere.” 

Donna sneered, “Not interfere Kenneth, has Angela bewitched you? She had done such a disgrace, and you still plan to stay with her?” 

“I said it’s none of your business. Don’t interfere with our affairs anymore!” 

Angela, who had been silent until now, suddenly spoke up. “I agree to the divorce as long as you can get Kenneth to sign th

Seeing Angela agree so readily. Donna couldn’t help but frown. 

“You’re agreeing to the divorce just like that!” 

Angela smiled, “Didn’t you just say it Kenneth and I have been married for three years without kids, and yes, I did fool around with a gigolo 

Donna glared at Angela. “You better make sure you can do as you say 

“If you’re worried, I can write a formal letter or swear to you.” 

No sooner had she finished speaking, Kenneth couldn’t bear it any longer and burst out. “Angela, shut up!” 

Angela turned to Kenneth, her expression calm. “Look, everyone thinks we shouldn’t be together. Why do you still refuse to divorce!” 

She really couldn’t understand what Kenneth was thinking. She was stepping aside for him and Jennifer. He should be eager to sign the papers. 

Kenneth was silent for a few seconds, then he took Angela’s hand and left without a word. 

Donna watched their retreating figures, seething with anger, and immediately called Richard Sinclair, Kenneth’s father 

“Richard, come back home. I need to discuss something with you!” 

Stepping out of Sinclair Manor, Angela shook off Kenneth’s hand impatiently. 

*Kenneth, enough. I don’t want to keep dealing with your mom like this Can’t you just let me go? 

Kenneth stopped. “If you don’t want to deal with her, then don’t. If she comes to you, just ignore her. Angela was surprised to hear this. She hadn’t expected Kenneth to say something like that. 

“No matter what you say or do now, it won’t change my mind about wanting a divorce,” she continued. 

Kenneth’s expression was indifferent as he spoke. “You will still be Mrs. Sinclair as long as I don’t want a divorce.” 

Realizing that continuing this argument would lead nowhere, Angela dropped the topic. “I don’t want to talk about this today. Let’s go back” Seeing the impatience in Angela’s eyes, Kenneth felt a surge of irritation.

The next morning, Angela took the gown to the office and handed it to Brenda “Happy Birthday!” 

The moment Brenda saw the Heartfall dress, she was astonished and delighted, and she couldn’t help but fondle it admiringly. 

“Is this really for me?” she exclaimed 

“Yeah, I finished in a while ago. I just never got around to picking it up” 

Brenda hugged Angela excitedly. “Angle, th 

thank you so much. I’m thrilled I’m going to wear this dress for my date tonight” 

Angela raised an eyebrow. “You have a boyfriend now! 

“Yeah, Brenda replied shyly. “When the time’s right, I bring him over to meet you

Seeing the happiness on Brenda’s face, Angela was curious. She wondered what kind of man could capture the heart of a strong–willed woman like Brenda 

“I was planning to take you out for dinner tonight, but since you have a date with your boyfriend, let’s do it another time.” 

“Okay.” 

After Brenda left, Angela was about to review some documents when her phone suddenly rang. 

“Angela, Kenneth have signed the divorce paper. You need to come over to Sinclair Manor right away!” 

Angela frowned. Just yesterday, Kenneth was refusing to divorce. She couldn’t believe he had agreed to sign it today. 

“Did he really sign them? 

There was a pause on the other end of the line, and then Donna’s mocking voice came through. “What else? Do you think I would lie to you? Or do you think that Kenneth couldn’t live without you?” 

Angela pressed her lips and replied, “Alright, I’ll be there soon.” 

After hanging up, Jennifer spoke with concern beside Donna. “Mrs. Sinclair, are you sure this is the right thing to do? If Kenneth finds out about this, he’s going to be furious” 

Donna’s face was cold. “You don’t need to worry. Once he and Angela finalize their divorce, even if he’s truly angry, what can he do? I’m his mother, after all. He can’t do anything to mef 

Last night, she called Richard back home and exaggerated the incident about Angela and the gigolo, wanting Richard to force Kenneth to divorce Angela. However, Richard scolded her, saying it was Kenneth and Angela’s personal matter and that she should not intervene. 

Donna was furious and couldn’t sleep all night. She wouldn’t allow such an unethical woman like Angela to continue staying by Kenneth’s side. 

Half an hour later, Angela stepped into Sinclair Manor’s living room. 

The two people who were chatting and laughing stopped, and their smiles faded as they saw her. 

Donna lifted her chin, her tone disdainful. The divorce papers are on the table. Once you sign them, you’ll have nothing to do with Kenneth ever again 

Angela walked to the table, picked up the divorce papers, and flipped to the last page. Indeed, she saw Kenneth’s signature. 

She picked up a pen and couldn’t help but glance at Donna for confirmation. “This signature of Kenneth is legitimate, right!“ 

Donna anorted, “Of course, it’s real. I wouldn’t stoop to using a fake signature to deceive you!” 

“Alright then” 

Seeing Angela sign her name without hesitation, Donna felt some discomfort. She had expected Angela to hesitate or be reluctant to sign. But now, Angela seemed relieved, as if she had taken off some burden 

To avoid any further complications, Angela said, T’m going to take these divorce papers to the Courthouse right now. 

As soon as she finished speaking, Donna said, “I’ll go with you, just to make sure you don’t play any tricks behind my back“”” 

Angela didn’t refuse. “Sure.” 

Stepping out of Sinclair Manor, Donna saw the Lamborghini parked at the entrance and couldn’t help but frown, “Did Kenneth buy you that car? Since you’re getting divorced, you can’t take it with you.” 

angela was taken aback by Donna’s bizarre claim. Setting aside the fact that the car was Angela’s, even if Kenneth had bought it for her, she had every reason to keep it after caring for Kenneth for three years. 

Jennifer glared at Angela, her eyes red with anger and jealousy. 

Yeah, Angela, you’re not planning to take advantage of Kenneth even after the divorce, right?” 

In Jennifer’s mind, his money would be hers once she married Kenneth, so she was determined not to let Angela keep the car. 

Angela glanced at them indifferently. “You might be disappointed. This car has nothing to do with Kenneth. I’ll wait for you at the Courthouse 

entrance. 

With that, Angela smoothly got into her car and drove off, leaving Donna and Jennifer behind. 

After arriving at the Courthouse entrance, Angela waited for over an hour, but Donna and Jennifer still hadn’t shown up. 

Chapter 25 

She felt impatient and decided to finalize the divorce herself. 

Just as she got out of her car, a black Maybach pulled up in front of her. 

Angela’s eyes widened in shock, and she instinctively gripped the divorce papers tighter. 

The next second, the rear door of the Maybach swung open. 

Kenneth stepped out, approaching Angela with a stern face, his eyes filled with anger.
