Divorce Clock Ticking (Kenneth and Angela) novel Chapter 63

Angela and Joseph's expressions changed upon hearing this. They didn't expect to be targeted as soon as they arrived in Lavinia.

They looked at each other, and each of them was vigilant.

"Joseph, what should we do now?"

Their whereabouts couldn't be exposed, or they might cause much trouble.

Joseph took out his mobile phone and dialed a number, saying coldly, "Figure out whose car it is that followed us when we left the airport."

As he hung up, the driver said solemnly, "There are two groups of people following us."

Joseph and Angela looked serious. It seemed that their whereabouts had been exposed.

After thinking a few seconds, Joseph told the driver, "Don't go back now. Send us to a hotel in Lavinia. We will make plans after we find out who is following us."

"Yes."

After driving the two to the hotel, the driver left.

Joseph and Angela booked a room. They entered the room and tacitly began to check if there were hidden cameras, microphones, or other things.

In less than five minutes, they found seven or eight cameras and hidden microphones.

They dismantled the cameras and microphones, threw them into the toilet, and flushed them away. Then, they sat on the sofa.

Angela frowned and whispered, "Joseph, two groups of people followed us. Do you have anyone to suspect?"

Joseph shook his head. "No, we can only wait for the result."

"If they are here for Leif, we should stay in Lavinia for a few days and deal with them before coming to Leif."

After all, to the outside world, Leif had been dead for several years. If someone found him, it would cause serious consequences.

"You are right. In the next few days, we..."

Before Angela could finish speaking, the door was suddenly slammed open, and several people in police uniforms rushed in.

"Hands up!"

Angela and Joseph were stunned.

An hour later, the policeman sent the two out of the police station with a guilty look and apologized, "I'm sorry. We received an anonymous report, but the informant gave us the wrong room number. Sorry to trouble you."

After being tormented for several hours, Angela and Joseph were tired. They returned to the hotel, booked two rooms, and went upstairs to sleep.

In Lithoria, Kenneth received a call from his people in Lavinia.

"Mr. Sinclair, it's already done. Ms. Lewis and Mr. Harrison have now returned to the hotel and booked separate rooms. However, I found another group tailing them."

Kenneth said, "I know. Keep an eye on them. Once you see them doing something intimate, you know what to do."

"Okay, Mr. Sinclair."

After hanging up, Kenneth squinted. ''Angela, you dared to stay in a room with a man after leaving Lithoria. How bold you are!

'When you return, I will teach you a lesson and tell you what a married woman can't do!' Kenneth thought.

Early the next morning, when Angela and Joseph had breakfast, Joseph looked at her with a strange expression and said, "Angela, those stalkers have been identified. One group came after me, and the other was...sent by Kenneth..."

Angela frowned, "I know. I will deal with Kenneth's people."

She stood up and stepped aside to call Kenneth.

Kenneth answered it instantly, "What's up?"

There was a brief silence before Angela said coldly, "Mr. Sinclair, please send the people you arranged to follow me away."

Kenneth sneered, "Why don't you explain first why you shared a room with another man?"

Angela pressed her lips, and an idea suddenly came into her mind.

"Did you do what happened last night?!"
