Don't Annoy My Boss Daddy novel Chapter 45

"Fired? Has someone been fired for being late before?"

Brandon frowned and looked at me in confusion.

"I think I'm very likely to be the first, because I have offended my boss. Now all the people in the company are targeting me. If I do something wrong, I may really be fired."

Hearing Brandon's words, I lowered my head gloomily. In fact, I really didn't want to go to work recently because I could feel that all the colleagues in the company were talking about me. Rudy was piling work on me just because I had rejected him before. I even had to deal with the issues regarding the logistics department.

"Why?"

Brandon's handsome brows furrowed tightly as he looked at me with a probing look in his eyes.

At first, I didn't want to tell anyone that Rudy had tried to take advantage of me, but I had been keeping it in for so long. Everyone thought that I had seduced him. I felt wronged.

I didn't know why, but I told Brandon about how Rudy had tried to take advantage of me.

As soon as I finished speaking, Brandon's expression darkened. I was shocked and looked at him in a panic. Did he think that I was tattling for my benefit just because I'd slept with him a few times? What if that's what he thinks of me?

"Did Rudy touch your chest?"

Just as I was panicking about how to explain, Brandon's cold voice rang out. His handsome face was gloomy as I looked at him. I couldn't figure out what he was thinking.

"Yes..."

I responded in a low voice, not sure what Brandon meant.

"I will handle this matter. Hollie Hunter, listen to me. Before I end our relationship, you cannot let any other man touch your body. Do you hear me?"

Brandon looked at me with a dark expression, with a hint of warning in his voice.

I looked at him helplessly. It was Rudy who took advantage of me. I also felt very disgusted by his actions, but to him, it sounded as if I wanted to let him touch me.

"I understand. I'll be careful in the future."

Although I was a little angry, I still spoke obediently on the surface.

Hearing my answer, Brandon glanced at me indifferently. Then he picked up the cup of coffee beside him and drank it elegantly as if he had forgotten me. As time passed by, I became more anxious. Even if I left for work now, I'd still be late.

"Brandon, do you have any woman's clothes here? Can you lend me some?"

I turned to look at Brandon, who was sitting on the sofa. Seeing that he was focused on the newspaper in his hand, I asked tentatively.

"Do you think I look like someone who would randomly bring women home?"

Brandon turned to look at me. His voice was slightly raised, with coldness.

Wasn't he? He did just bring me home last night.
