Those dark brown eyes were so fierce that she forgot to look at the man’s face. When her brow arched slightly, Ava’s gaze shifted to her other facial features.
He was a young man with good looks.
“I asked, “Who are you?”
He asked the question again. This time, his voice was so cold that made her flinch.
She immediately moved back, almost falling back.
But a hand grabbed her hand, preventing her from falling.
Ava gasped when she noticed how close she was to falling. The man pulled her up, making her stand straight.
His hands, which were holding her hand, caught her attention.
It was full of tattoos.
For once, her heart shook inside as the tattooed hand reminded her of Ian.
When the man let her go, she lowered her head and said,
“I am not from this pack. I am sorry. I didn’t mean to…”
She paused when she thought about why she was giving him so much explanation.
She looked at the man. In his dark suit, he appeared youthful. But he looked intimidating and unapproachable.
Her eyes went back to his tattooed hand, and she thought,
‘Another bad boy! I should stay away from all of them.‘
She took a few steps back.
As if the young man did not like her actions, he asked,
“Which pack do you belong to?”
Her footsteps froze. Her gaze returned to meet his brown eyes.
She gulped, not knowing if she should reply truly. She cleared her throat.
“I am going to the City Moon Pack.”
The man raised a brow and said,
“That’s not the answer I wanted.”
Ava blinked her eyes, trying to find any excuse to cut the question. Her gaze was drawn to the woman who was seated next to her on the plane.
“SISTER!”
She shouted while looking at the woman.
The man turned his head to look at the woman.
The woman saw Ava waving at her. So she waved at her back.
“I am coming, Sister,” Ava said quickly, then turned to the young man.

Excuse me. My sister is waiting for me.”
She hurriedly walked past the man and went to the woman.
The man turned around and looked at her back for a while. His eye followed her until she started talking to the woman.
At that time, an old man came to him and said,
“Your flight is ready.”
Without looking at the old man, he replied,
“Cancel it.”
“W–What?” the old man asked with a shocked face:
The young man turned his head to the old man. The old man lowered his lead, bowing to him while saying,
“Alpha.”
The man’s gaze returned to Ava. He moved over and sat down on a bench.
After crossing his legs, he unlocked his phone. He watched a video and muttered to the old man standing beside him
“I heard someone get into an accident. Is he dead?”
“No, Alpha.”
“Tsk. What terrible news!” he murmured.
He concentrated on his phone, playing the latest news.
“The future Alpha of the Mystic Shadow Pack is in danger. According to the doctors, his condition is critical. He will be under observation for three days. If he does not awaken, there will be no hope.”
The man let out a deep breath as he locked his phone and put it inside his suit jacket’s pocket.
“Still weak like before.”
The old man lowered his head and said,
“Alpha, he likes to go on car races. But tonight, he lost control of his car’s brakes and nearly crashed. As per news, his blood is extremely rare to match. So it took doctors a long time to find his blood. Maybe that is why his condition worsened.”
“And his dad was expecting him to run his pack? In his dreams,” he said mockingly.
The old man listened to him without letting out anything.
The young man was none other than the head Alpha of the Thunder Howl Pack.
His gaze returned to the food court, where it rested on Ava.
Meanwhile,
Ava was talking with the woman while selecting something for herself to eat. The woman was from the City Moon Pack. She went to visit the Mystic Shadow Pack to meet his boyfriend. They were in a long–distance relationship.
Ava lowered her head, her thoughts drifting to la. She remembered how two days were like two years to her when lars out of the pack. But when he came back, everything changed. His love and her life both changed in one night.
Ava lost her appetite and thought about buying something to drink
As she sipped her drink, her gaze moved around until it settled on the young man she had run into.
