"Who?"
Nicole quickly ran over and saw a little boy standing up from the ground. It was obvious that he had fallen from the wall above.
When he saw Nicole, he blushed with embarrassment.
"Miss, I'm sorry. I fell down carelessly."
The cute little boy was about seven or eight years old. If he hadn't worn boy's clothes, Nicole would have thought he was a little girl.
"Why are you on our fence?"
"My house is next door."
The little boy explained.
Nicole did not know who was living next door to Edwin. Since the boy lived in the military compound, he must be some army man's family
Nicole took a fancy of the little boy at first sight.
"What is your name?"
"My name is Nash Cawker."
Nash replied.
His surname was relatively rare in Seapolis City. Nicole did not figure out for the while who his parents were. She smiled and said, "I'll walk you back through the main door."
"No need."
Nash hurriedly waved his hand.
A young girl's voice came from the other side of the wall.
"Nash, where have you gone? Did you climb over the wall to talk to Zoe again? Let me tell you. If you don't come back, I'll tell Daddy and he will order you to stand at attention. He won't allow you to leave the military!"
Nash pursed his lips in dissatisfaction.
"Got it. I'll go back now. What a rat."
Nash replied reluctantly.
That girl didn't answer.
However, Nicole got a clue from the conversation between the siblings.
What?
Nash came here to look for Zoe.
What was going on?
How could Zoe find such a handsome boyfriend?
Nicole looked at Nash as if she were his mother-in-law.
Nash suddenly felt a little uncomfortable.
"Miss, I'm leaving first!"
After that, he tried to climb the wall, but Nicole grabbed his collar and pulled him down.
"Exit via the door. A gentleman won't climb the wall."
"I promise I won't ever do it again."
Nash looked like a child who had done something wrong and hung his head in shame.
Nicole smiled, "Zoe went out to draw from life. Don't know that she isn't at home?"
Nash suddenly looked up.
"I've always been in the military area. I just came back for a day off today."
'So he is the same as Lucas.'
Nash was able to stay in the military region at such a young age. He must have high aspirations.
Nicole smiled, "When she comes back, I'll ask her to contact you, okay?"
"No need. I'll visit her if I have time."
Nash smiled faintly. Nicole liked to see his dimple.
Who was this cute boy's family?
He was so good-looking.
When he grew up, many women would fall in love with him.
Nicole involuntarily was attracted to him, and her tone became gentler.
"I'll take you back."
"Alright."
This time, Nash did not refuse.
Fortunately, there was no one around at noon. When Nicole took Nash out of the living room, Steve was stunned.
"Mr. Nash?"
"You know him?"
Nicole looked at Steve.
Steve nodded and said, "He is Emory's son."
Nicole found that Emory's name sounded familiar. Emory seemed to be the head of the Four Young Masters of Seapolis City and Samuel's friend. But she rarely saw him.
When she and Samuel got married, Samuel was busy and could not see her love for him. Naturally, he would not bring her to his friends gathering. She stayed abroad for five years after she was persecuted. After she returned home, series of accidents happened, so Samuel didn't contact them.
At present, among Samuel's friends, the person Nicole frequently saw was Blair and Steven. She did not expect to meet Emory's son here today.
'How handsome Nash is.'
Nicole thought.
When Nash saw Steve, he immediately gave Steve a standard military salute.
"Hello, Steve!"
"Hello!"
Steve returned Nash a military salute.
Nicole's expression was somewhat different.
Steve was not an ordinary person. He had worked for Edwin for many years. Everyone respected him.
However, not only was he courteous to Nash, but he also saluted Nash. It could be seen that Nash enjoyed a high status in the army.
Nash was just a seven-year-old child. Had he achieved such a feat?
Nicole pondered, but she did not show her surprise.
After sending Nash home, Nicole missed Lucas even more.
She loved her son a lot.
Just as she was thinking, Mark drove a military jeep over.
"Nicole, my dear niece!"

The book is slow....too many words are wasted to explain...need a better translator.......
God I want to read the book but it's freaking annoying, Samuel Green, Nicole Bush, Lucas Bush, Jacob Brown in every line.....I hope this author grows...the book would have been okay but it's affecting my mood...

What is it with Chinese authors. The characters are slow, he finally opened his mouth, it took him so long just to say two words...the house keeper would have put the person out before he even spoke....is this really how people are over there..the characters are always lost in thought, they might as well live in their heads.....
