Don't Try to Escape, My Wife! novel Chapter 1102

"Lucas, are you trying to console me?"

Nicole asked.

"Or what?"

Lucas felt that Nicole was not smart because she had been spoiled by Samuel. It was not necessary to ask such a simple question.

Nicole was despised again.

We can't continue our talk. Nicole muttered.

"I'm going to sleep. You go on yourself."

Nicole walked out of the study in a black mood.

Lucas thought that life was too difficult for him.

He let go of his status as a genius and play Penta Storm with her. Why would she feel offended?

Gosh! Women are unpredictable.

Sure enough. One couldn't be more cautious when dealing with women.

He shook his head and went back to his coding.

Nicole was depressed, but after returning to her room, she was also worried about Samuel.

Nicole couldn't believe that Samuel had gone to the military compound for so long.

Was it because there was something else? Nicole wondered.

Nicole wanted to call Samuel, but she gave it up after consideration, lest it would give him an impression that she wouldn't want him to stay there.

She didn't want to interfere with Samuel's decision.

If Samuel decided to stay in the military, she would also move past this and try to be a military wife. If Samuel wanted to come back, she would love to.

Nicole was getting sleepy when she thought about this.

She leaned against the bed and soon fell asleep.

When Samuel returned, he saw Zoe and Joseph playing in the living room, and Lucas was probably in the study, but he couldn't find Nicole.

"Zoe, Joseph, where's your Mommy?"

Samuel placed his coat at the entryway.

Zoe ran to him and wanted a hug.

Samuel gave her a gentle hug.

"Oh, my little princess might have gained weight."

Zoe's face darkened when she heard this.

"Daddy, are you saying I'm fat?"

"No, Daddy is saying that our little princess has grown up."

Samuel explained.

And then Zoe burst into laughter.

"Daddy is the best."

"What about Mommy?"

"She's in her room. I guess she might be angry with my brother."

Zoe tattled.

Joseph smiled and felt great when Zoe screwed Lucas.

Samuel was surprised.

"Lucas made Nicole angry? Why?"

"Who knows."

Zoe shrugged.

Samuel hurriedly put down Zoe and walked towards the bedroom on the second floor.

"Zoe, are you having a problem with Lucas recently?" Joseph asked.

"Yes."

Zoe made no secret of it.

"What is it?"

Joseph was astonished.

Zoe whispered, "He never takes me when he goes out for fun. I was in poor health before. Now I'm in the pink, but he still doesn't take me. You think I don't know you and Lucas went abroad, don't you? That's too much! I can't imagine that both of you don't want to spend time with me."

The more Zoe said, the angrier she became.

Zoe was depressed.

"We went abroad for business, not for fun."

"Okay. You all go out to do business. I go out to have fun. Anyway, you're geniuses. I'm a foodie. You are always right."

Zoe was not angry, but her words made Joseph guilty.

"Zoe, I will take you out next time, okay?"

"We will see about that."

Zoe was not interested now.

Joseph thought that she was angry and explained, "I did go abroad for business. Are you going to treat me like Lucas?"

"No."

Just when Joseph thought that Zoe would say yes, she said no. This surprised Joseph.

"Why?"

"What?"

"Why did you tattle Lucas and not do this to me?"

Joseph suddenly felt a little uncomfortable.

These differential treatments made him isolated.

Although Zoe was a foodie, she was sensitive as well. When Joseph asked her why, she subconsciously wanted to say that because you were my brother. You had been through so much. How can I not be good to you?

But when she saw how hurt Joseph looked, she decided not to say that.

Zoe smiled and said, "Because I like you."
