Nicole’s voice was not loud but full of dignity.
The maid was startled. Then she tossed the things from her hands towards Nicole.
Nicole subconsciously blocked them and cried out immediately, “Get that woman!”
The woman pushed the window open and escaped. The guards rushed to follow her.
Upon hearing her cry, Samuel and others rushed over.
“What happened?”
He pulled Nicole over, carefully checking if she had any injury.
Nicole shook her head and said, “I’m fine. Just now, a maid was going to find Laurence, and I found it.”
“Laurence?”
Samuel squinted slightly. Olivia and Booth also rushed out of the room. Upon hearing what Nicole said, they were slightly taken aback.
“Was it Cara?”
Olivia had got to know all the stories, so she immediately guessed if it was Cara.
Nicole shook her head.
“No, she wasn’t. I could recognize Cara’s height and figure if it were she. That woman had a hoarse voice, but her height and figure are different from Cara’s.”
“Then who was it?”
All of them were confused about this maid.
Zayn heard that someone with an unknown identity had sneaked into the palace, so he strengthened the security measure. However, that maid seemed to disappear. No one could find any trace of her.

Nicole was a bit curious.

The book is slow....too many words are wasted to explain...need a better translator.......
God I want to read the book but it's freaking annoying, Samuel Green, Nicole Bush, Lucas Bush, Jacob Brown in every line.....I hope this author grows...the book would have been okay but it's affecting my mood...
Does the author have write the full names of the characters all the time...it's annoying...we are reading the book, we know their surnames already.......
What is it with Chinese authors. The characters are slow, he finally opened his mouth, it took him so long just to say two words...the house keeper would have put the person out before he even spoke....is this really how people are over there..the characters are always lost in thought, they might as well live in their heads.....

She's questioning his brain, her brain is broken. How easily she keeps forgetting her own kids for a man, especially her sick daughter shame then kid might as well die huh...
