Xander took Eaton out of the Shaffer family and quickly went to Morty’s/
Morty froze when he saw Xander.
“Mr. Don?”
“Tell Blair to come here and check if my grandson’s alright!”
Eaton was Nicole’s son. If anything happened to him, she would be devastated.
Xander felt his heart was broken when he thought how sad she would be.
He felt bad enough that couldn’t do much for his daughter. By the time he wanted to make it up for her, she had grown up.
He thought he wouldn’t have the chance for the rest of his life. Thank God that he finally had the opportunity. But he was still afraid.
He was afraid that Eaton might end up like him.
When Lucas saw Eaton, he ran toward him.
“Eaton!”
His eyes got wet.
Eaton looked a lot skinnier than he used to be. His face was dreadfully pale. Lucas remembered that Eaton’s arms used to be so chubby and now they were incredibly thin.
He held Eaton carefully in his arms and stared at Morty.
He didn’t say anything but the look on his face made Morty feel terrible.
“Send Blair!”
“Mr. Morty, Mr. Blair is in the emergency room trying to save Cara. She’s lost too much blood and now the blood bank is in shortage. I’m afraid...”
Hearing what the bodyguard said, Morty frowned.
Xander said in a low voice, “I send people to get Cody!”
Morty grabbed Xander’s hands.
He knew Xander desperately wanted to save a life. But if something happened to Xander here, he couldn’t give a perfect explanation to Samuel and Nicole!
However, Xander yelled, “Cara is Cody’s daughter! Biological daughter!”
“What?”
Morty froze and so did Lucas.

The book is slow....too many words are wasted to explain...need a better translator.......
God I want to read the book but it's freaking annoying, Samuel Green, Nicole Bush, Lucas Bush, Jacob Brown in every line.....I hope this author grows...the book would have been okay but it's affecting my mood...
Does the author have write the full names of the characters all the time...it's annoying...we are reading the book, we know their surnames already.......
What is it with Chinese authors. The characters are slow, he finally opened his mouth, it took him so long just to say two words...the house keeper would have put the person out before he even spoke....is this really how people are over there..the characters are always lost in thought, they might as well live in their heads.....

She's questioning his brain, her brain is broken. How easily she keeps forgetting her own kids for a man, especially her sick daughter shame then kid might as well die huh...
