"Olivia, don't. Seriously, I'm probably going to be a cripple. Even with the Greatest Global Scalpel as my doctor, my legs might not recover. You'd better keep the money for yourself instead of me."
"Nonsense. You are my younger brother and the future of the Kent family. I am just a woman. The future of our family depends on you. Your priority now is to cure your legs. Before Dr. Ashley declares that your legs are incurable, I won't give up. I will get the money no matter how. Don't worry about the rest."
Olivia said firmly. Booth was almost in tears.
"Olivia, I'm just a cripple. Don't bother for me."
"Nonsense again. With you guys, I feel like I'm still alive. Anyway, I'm cooking for you. Then I'll go to see Dad. Jacob had a car accident, too. He's a vegetable now and needs people to talk to him from time to time. If you do care about me, hurry to get better and help me."
Olivia didn't keep Jacob's crash from Booth, which resulted in Booth's dropped jaw.
"Jacob had a car accident?"
"Yeah. I don't think it was just an accident. There might be something going on. But I haven't had time to look into the matter yet. But don't worry. I will get to the bottom of it."
When Olivia heard the coincidences from Nicole, she had a feeling that Jacob's car accident had been planned. And she had more doubt by Melissa's behaviors.
This was so weird.
"What did Nicole say?"
Booth asked directly.
Olivia paused for a moment before saying in a low voice, "She should be investigating it with Samuel, but I wish I can do something about it. Let's not talk about it now. Wait for a while. I'll go to the hospital after cooking."
"Olivia, you seem to have caught a cold. Have a rest this afternoon if you can't hold out."
Booth didn't have the heart to see her like that.
Olivia waved her hand. "I'm fine. I can handle it."
Her face was red. Obviously, she had a fever.
Before Booth could say anything, Olivia had already head to the kitchen.
After everything was done, Olivia brought some food to the hospital.
Nicole was still there. Seeing Olivia, she frowned slightly.
"Why is your face so red? Did you catch a cold?"
With that, she was about to touch Olivia's forehead. But Olivia dodged her hand.
"I'm fine."
Nicole narrowed her eyes.
"You have a cold? Where did you go? What did you do?"
"I said I'm fine. Keep an eye on Jacob for a while for me. I'm going to see my father first."
Olivia quickly left.
Watching Olivia's tottering feet, Nicole felt sorry for her.
She took out her phone and called Ernesto.
"Find out what Olivia did this morning."
After receiving the order, Ernesto replied soon.
"Mrs. Green, Miss Olivia went to work as an extra. She stayed in the rain for half an hour playing a corpse. And..."
He hesitated for a moment before telling Nicole about the director.
Nicole's face darkened immediately.
"Mrs. Green, should I warn that director?"
Ernesto was mad, too.
Nicole shook her head. "Wait, we'll talk about it later."
Ernesto knew how close Nicole and Olivia were. Now that such a thing had happened, Nicole actually told him to wait. Ernesto didn't understand, but he didn't ask.
Nicole asked Ernesto to call the doctor. When Olivia returned, Nicole said directly, "Go get a jab in the infusion room, or I won't let you leave today."
Seeing her, Olivia knew that Nicole had found out what she had done. So she didn't protest and went to the infusion room for injection before coming back.
"I want to talk to Jacob."
"Okay."
Nicole left the ward.
That was when Samuel called. He asked in a low voice, "Where are you? Hospital or home?"
"Hospital."
"I'll pick you up."
"Alright."
Nicole hung up the phone. Samuel arrived very soon.
Nicole got in the car. Noting the gloomy look on his face, she knew his questioning of Elvis might not go very smoothly.
"Elvis didn't cooperate?"
"He did. It's just that the Una thing is a little tricky. But I will take care of it. Don't worry."
Samuel didn't want to involve Nicole in Elvis' shit anymore.
Nicole nodded.
She gritted her teeth and said, "Samuel, I need to talk to you about something."
"What is it?"
"I want to start a film and television company."

The book is slow....too many words are wasted to explain...need a better translator.......
God I want to read the book but it's freaking annoying, Samuel Green, Nicole Bush, Lucas Bush, Jacob Brown in every line.....I hope this author grows...the book would have been okay but it's affecting my mood...
Does the author have write the full names of the characters all the time...it's annoying...we are reading the book, we know their surnames already.......
What is it with Chinese authors. The characters are slow, he finally opened his mouth, it took him so long just to say two words...the house keeper would have put the person out before he even spoke....is this really how people are over there..the characters are always lost in thought, they might as well live in their heads.....
