Victoria’s heart sank because she had already figured out what Eduard was going to do. He intended to humiliate Maximilian in public in the name of negotiation.

"Maximilian doesn’t feel well today. He has to rest at home." Victoria made an excuse.

Connor heaved a sigh and then said, "But they don’t know what kind of apology suits you best. So, what’s your opinion?"

"Do you remember Eduard?"

This man suddenly popped into Maximilian’s head.

"I do. I have done a background check on him. He is the president of Dunhill Group. Is that guy plotting something against you?" Connor’s conjecture was infinitely approaching the truth.

"He is going to discuss a cooperation with the Griffith family in a while. If those guys of Geekoo have some sense, they naturally know what to do."
