None of the five masters could compete with Maximilian, and they all dead quickly.
Adding the one who was kicked death by the flying stone, the six masters Mint had arranged dead neatly.
Mint had already sneaked into the building cite and was pretending there was a ghost outside the work shed, which made the guards frightened so much.
Finding the guards may already believe there was something supernatural happened, Mint took out his phone to check time. It had been fifteen minutes since Maximilian got into the working cite.
He speculated it was time for the masters to kill Maximilian. Hence, he withdrew his ghosting stuff and headed towards the centre of the building site, trying to make a fake situation of Maximilian died on the spot.
However, he went stiff after arriving and was almost scared to death when seeing the six dead bodies.
“Fuck!” Mint screwed. His legs became weak due to the great shock. When he turned around and was to escape, he found Maximilian was standing behind him, staring at him coldly.
Mint was so afraid that he kept on stepping backwards. However, he was stumbled by one of the bodies behind him and fell into the dead bodies.
He shouted out after turning around and found a pale face beside him, “Ah!”
Maximilian approached him with a smile and stepped on his chest, making him stop yelling.
“Are you the one who pulls the strings?”
“Me, no, it’s not me. It’s not my fault. It was Master Stevens who told me to do this.”
Mint replied anxiously, which was completely different from how he behaved in the daytime.
He was regretful when thinking of his aggressive behaviour before. How couldn’t he find out that Maximilian was a true master? He was so stupid!
“Master Stevens? What else did that fraud tell you to do?”
“Well, he, he is fond of your wife and has prepared knockout in her cup when she is in his room.” Mint told everything he knew due to fear.
A flicker of homicidal intent passed over Maximilian’s eyes when he heard of this. He looked at Mint coldly and continued to ask, “You are his apprentice and I expect that you know the way of how he lies to others.”
“Well, just a little. I only know just a little. Are you trying to ruin him? I can provide you with evidence as long as you don’t kill me.”
Mint did not know whether Maximilian would kill him because he had already killed six masters. He tried to meet his requirements to stay alive.
“I won’t kill you if you are willing to be the tainted witness and tell everyone that your master is a fraud.” Maximilian answered him calmly.
Mint went silent. It wouldn’t be an easy thing to be a tainted witness because his fellows would despise him after knowing this. Besides, Master Stevens’ fans may try to kill him. Therefore, it was only a matter of time for his death.
“Well, what’s your opinion? I’m not a patient man.” Maximilian said coldly.
Mint suddenly became afraid and nodded, “Yes, I will do everything as you say.”
