“Got it. I’ll look into it right away.”
Aurora responded with a brief “Mm” and hung up without another word.
She stared ahead at the road, deep in thought.
Aurora couldn’t figure out what exactly this person was after.
Was he simply trying to find out where she lived, or did he have something else in mind?
She had indeed offended quite a few people in the business world lately.
To land those two major deals, there was no way she wouldn’t have offended anyone.
The Vanguard Group deal was already enough on its own.
And on top of that, pushing through the overseas partnership had taken a lot out of her.
Over the past few months, her collaboration with John had become common knowledge in Ravenshore.
There were certainly plenty of people eyeing that opportunity.
‘She was fully aware of that.
But she still had no idea whom she had offended.
Could the man following her be one of them?
She hoped that was the reason the man was following her.
In the business world, sometimes all it took was catching one culprit to send a message.
Once the first example was made, the rest would fall into line.
With that in mind, Aurora pressed Ian again to let her know immediately if he found anything.
Ian replied with a message, saying he understood.
Seeing how anxious Aurora was, he realized the situation wasn’t as simple as it seemed.
Whoever the person was, he needed to be found quickly.
