Chapter 443
If she hadn’t set her sights on a married man, this might’ve been a beautiful love story.
But unfortunately, she fell for the wrong person at the wrong time.
All that was left now was the bitter truth that things and people had changed.
Back in the room, Lucas found that Aurora wasn’t done with her shower yet.
He had only waited a short while when she walked out wrapped in a towel.
Too tired to think straight, she had forgotten to grab her clothes before heading into the bathroom.
Assuming Lucas was still out, she’d strolled out without a second thought.
When she spotted someone in the living room, she froze.
Then she quickly clutched the towel to her chest.
“Why did you come in so suddenly? You didn’t make a sound at all.”
Lucas didn’t even know where to look.
“1–well, I saw you were in the shower, so I thought I’d just come in to grab some clothes. I didn’t expect you to walk out so fast.”
He was a completely different man now compared to how he was with Wendy earlier.
Out there, Lucas was cold, commanding, and impossible to approach.
But with Aurora, he turned bashful, even a little innocent.
She’d only come out in a towel, and he already didn’t know where to put his eyes.
“Alright then, go grab your clothes and take your shower.”
Aurora, seeing how flustered he was, became even more at ease.
After all, this wasn’t their first time. They’d seen it all.
There was no need to be shy now.
Lucas glanced at her as she lowered her hand.
In that moment, her figure–curved in all the right places–was on full display.
Siender where it needed to be, soft where it mattered. Every inch of her was flawless
His throat tightened, Adam’s apple bobbing.
He hadn’t even stepped into the shower yet, but he was already burning up.
“What are you staring at? Go shower.”
Aurora couldn’t help but urge him.
Only then did Lucas pick up his clothes and head toward the bathroom.
As he passed her, the faint, lingering scent on her skin slipped right into his senses.
That single moment was enough to make Lucas‘ mind go completely hazy.
He reached out, cupping the back of Aurora’s head, and before she could react, his lips were already on hers.
He’d gotten quite skilled over time–his kisses deep, practiced, and completely disarming.
It only took a few moves before Aurora melted into it.
Her arms wrapped around his neck as she tilted her head back, eagerly responding.
They clung to each other, kissing with a hunger that built between them.
When Aurora finally couldn’t catch her breath, Lucas let her go.
He was breathing heavily too, his voice low and husky. “Wait for me. I’ll shower. It won’t take long,”
His deep, sultry tone brushed against her ear.
Aurora shot him a look, feigning impatience. “Just go already.”
She tried to act annoyed, but what Lucas didn’t notice was the way her ears had turned completely red.
