Allison walked to the desk and called back.

“Hello?”

“Are you Allison Gibson of the administrative department of the Parker Group? We met before. As for the price you offered, we considered about it again and agreed that we can foster our cooperation. How about this? Let’s make an appointment and have a talk face to face.”

Allison was escalated upon hearing this and agreed without a second thought, “Okay. Let’s meet today.”

After making the appointment with Mr. James, Allison immediately set up to make the plan. The gift boxes are to be given to all the stall of the company, so she could just make a plan as perfect as possible before listening to the supplier’s advice.

Time flied and it was afternoon soon. After everything was prepared, Allison walked out of the company and headed towards Mr. James’ company.

She waited in the lounge for a while. And Mr. James pushed open the door and walked in. Allison immediately stood up and reached out to him, “Mr. James, nice to meet you. I’m Allison Gibson.”

“I know you.” Mr. James smiles and reached out to shake hands with Allison while quickly studying her from head to toe.

Allison withdrew her hand and handed him the plan, “I’ve told you the price we could offer last time, and this time I want to talk with you about the products in the gift box. If we reach an agreement on this, I think we are close to reach a trade agreement.”

“It’s not in a hurry.” Mr. James smiled and leaned on the sofa, “Ms. Gibson, this is your first time to carry out such a task, right?”

Allison was surprised, “How… How did you know?”

Mr. James clucked, “If you have demands for festival gift boxes, you should contact suppliers in advance. It’s because the factories need time to produce products. To top it off, they have orders from various companies before every festival. Yet you contacted suppliers this late, I’m afraid that your order will have to be finished in last.”

“What?” Allison was shocked. She was just assigned with this task and had no relating experience. Therefore, she had never taken time and production schedule into consideration.”

“Then… Then what should I do now?”

Allison was lost for ideas. If she failed to finish the task in time and therefore the staff of the Parker Group could not get the gift box for the festival, she would be scolded by all the staff!

“Don’t be so anxious.” Mr. James appeared to be more composed. He glanced around Allison, “Since I ask you to have a talk here today, I definitely have some solutions for your problem.”

“What kinds of solution.”

Allison was flustered as she had never encountered such kind of problem before.

“I can put in good words for you and help you jump the queen. It’s just a matter of a call. Not a big deal.”

Mr. James laughed and continued, “Nevertheless, Ms. Gibson, you have to pay a tiny price for this.”

Allison subconsciously frowned upon hearing the words as a feeling of unease nagged at her, “What kind of price?”

Mr. James suddenly straightened himself and chuckled, “Ms. Gibson, as long as you’re willing to have dinner with me, I can assure you that this’s not a big deal.”

Allison couldn’t help twitching her mouth corner upon hearing the words.

This man looked like a forty-year-old middle-aged man with thin hair to naked eyes and had been studying her after she entered the room. She hadn’t noticed this when they met last time, but this time, she could clearly perceive his obscenity. He invited her to have dinner together, but who knew what he would do to her if she really came!

Allison gritted her teeth, stared at Mr. James, waved her hand to show her wedding ring and uttered word by word, “Sorry Mr. James, I’m married.”

After finishing the words, she quickly packed up the documents on the desk and then strode towards outside.

Mr. James hastily stood up to chase after her, “Ms. Gibson, stop. I don’t care about it. I’m married too. But I have had a crush on you since we met last time…”

Allison got goose bumps all over when hearing the voice. With a pile of documents in her arms, she quickly left.
