"You're really dressed like this on your birthday? Why not add some glam to it?" Jay gestured towards my close. I ignored him and put my helmet on.
"Who am I trying to impress unlike you two." I snorted and kicked back the stand revving up my bike.
Before they can say anything I rode off, I heard them yelling at me. A snarky smile developed on my lips as I just kept driving off. If they think I forgot about this morning it's only going to get worse. I should ruin their outfits at school, specifically at lunch. Pour some milk mixed with food on it so they smell horrible for the rest of the day.
Cassie let's think happy thoughts.
It only took like 7 minutes to get to school, considering I was indeed speeding. Kids don't speed that's not good. I couldn't help but notice as I got closer and closer to the school a weird feeling started to creep up in me. I parked my bike and got off, I took off my helmet and tried to ignore this feeling. Something did help to ignore that feeling since an annoying familiar red car parked right besides me. If my mood couldn't get any worse it just did. The annoying brunette got out of her car and stood in front of me.
"Oh look isn't it the birthday girl." Veronica smiled at me condescendingly.
"That's weird I think I heard a little rat squeaking into my ear." I smiled back at her and I saw her eyebrow twitch in annoyance.
"Whatever, today is the day you're suppose to find your mate. I hope you don't ever find your mate. I kind of want to see you suffer." She cooed at me.
"Aw I'm glad you're wishing that for me! Cause I don't want to find my mate too! I hope that wish comes true. Thank you Veronica!" My voice was dripping with so much sweetness that it was even disgusting for me.
Seeing how I wasn't moved by her words she got pissed off. She scoffed and stormed off like a little brat. If she thinks her little mean words can hurt me after all these years she should go check her brain out. Veronica hates me because I won this fight against her. It was competition where two packs fight against each other in a tournament. Let's just say I got the winning belt.
She's still bitter and it happened in middle school.
I made way into the school and I just felt even more weirder. Maybe I'm getting sick, that would be even worse. Getting sick on your birthday. I groaned out and pushed the weird feeling down. Even I did, a nice sweet smell filled up my nose. That sweet smell calmed down my nerves a bit. Is this some drug? Am I on crack or something? Sure the smell was nice but it was nauseating too, it was making me dizzy. I can feel Addie trying to push out the surface and I let her just for a bit.
"Mate it's our mate! This scent! Oh my god!" Addie screamed in my head. I winced at her voice and cursed to myself. Dammit I didn't think I was actually going to find my mate now, Veronica's wish did the complete opposite. I blame her, she cursed me.
"What did I say? Stop screaming into my head!" I yelled back at her. I know hypocritical of me.
