"Stop the fight it's over, your alpha is dead!" Elliot ordered in his alpha tone. Everyone stopped moving in that moment. Nolan's pack members saw his dead body and it looked like their world ended. Knowing that continue on fighting is a lost cause, all their fighting spirit left their bodies. Elliot's and my pack warriors started to quickly detain all of Nolan's people.
"Cassie, why did you do that!" Elliot cried out.
"Well you were in danger, why else?" I spoke but I sounded so weak.
"You should've let him stab me, now y-you-"
"I'll be fine, after all you said we need to have a big talk right." I laughed out weakly.
"It's ok we can stop this, let's got to the pack doctor." His voice was full of panic as he picked me up from my ground.
He started running towards the packs hospital without stopping. No one dared to stop him. I just saw the trees passing me slowly, everything felt slow in fact. I don't even feel like I'm in my own body right now.
I can't even feel anything now, I feel no pain at all. I was slipping in and out of consciousness. One moment I was outside and the next I staring up at a white ceiling. Elliot's face appeared in my vision and he was saying something but I couldn't hear. I wanted to talk, my mouth refused to move or make any sound.
All I wanted to do was to apologize to Elliot.
-Elliot's POV-
It's been a month, a month since the battle and Cassie hasn't woken up. There was a lot of wolves bane in her body. The doctors were surprised she even survived, it was a deadly amount. They said she was in a coma, and it was good way for her to heal herself. But it was taking forever, almost as if she was dead. I know she's not dead, I know her conscious is still there. I even tried to mind link her hoping someway she would respond. It was stupid but I just had to try it out for my own sanity.
"My head is not big! Yours is big!" He scoffed and then proceeded to punch my arm with his tiny little first.
"Well to me it is." I smiled down at him, his eyes twinkled like stars.
"You finally smiled!" David cried out. Kids sometimes can brighten up your mood.
"Let's get some food." I said and started to drag him along with me to the kitchen.
We made it to them kitchen and I went to the cabinet to grab some cereal. I poured him a bowl and myself. We sat down on the table and ate. My mom walked in with a basket of laundry and her eyes landed on us.
