My legs gave out and I was breathing at a rapid speed. Is she fucking crazy?! What kind of mood goddess is she?! A delusional one that's what she is! I noticed I was wearing a white summer dress for some unknown reason. When did I get a wardrobe change?
"Are you ok?" a little voice asked.
"Yea I'm o-" I stopped mid sentence to see the little girl standing in front of me. You're kidding me right? What kind of dream is this?
That little girl is me.
"C-Cassie?" I stuttered out. It feels weird saying my own name right now. First off why is little me in front of me?
"Yeah how did you know?" She asked confused. Many response went through my mind trying to come up with some stupid excuse.
"Um I'm your long lost aunt?" I lied. Oh good one big Cassie!
"Oh really I didn't know I had a long lost aunt!" No little me you're not suppose to believe a stupid lie like that! You know better.
"Right...so why are you out here all by yourself?" I asked as I got up from the ground dusting myself out in the process.
"I was playing with Toby and Joy but got lost." When she said that her eyes started to tear up. Oh shit, how do you deal with crying children!
"Please don't cry! How about we go find them yeah?" I grabbed her hand, well my own little hands and started to walk down some unfamiliar path.
As we kept walking, this actually seemed familiar. This is exactly the dream I had before I arrived at Nolan's pack. I can actually find out about that little boys identity. Though it is weird that Nyx decided to even take me back to this specific dreams out of probably thousands I've had in my life.
"So auntie what's your name?" Little me asked. Damn now what do I say?
"My name is Cassandra." I lied. Well it's just a shorten version of my name so it counts.
"You don't know that! Anything can happen!" Cassie snapped. One thing that remained is my little temper that's for sure. The little boy scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest. She wiped her tears and scooted away from him.
"Whatever...but you know you don't smell like you're from my fathers pack. You smell odd." The little boy leaned towards Cassie and began to sniff her. I held in my laugh seeing little me's embarrassed face. He was an odd boy after all.
"Don't sniff me y-you weirdo!" Cassie said embarrassed. A goofy smile erupted on his face and he grabbed her hand all of a sudden.
"You may smell odd, but you're true scent smells nice! I like it!" He said.
"Whatever, um I'm Cassie Dawson. What about you?" She introduced herself and held out her hand towards him. His eye lit up and he grabbed her hand shaking it roughly making little me whole body move.
"And I'm Elliot O'Connor!" He introduced himself. My mouth dropped down open, that's Elliot?! He looked so innocent and kind, what the hell! All this time Elliot was the one that helped me when I was little. How could I forget that, did I think this memory was so insignificant?
"Let's get out of here, I'll take you to your dad." Elliot pulled her up from the ground and they began walking side by side down the path. The two children walked passed me until little me stared up right at me with a big smile.
