Chapter 410 Viola Is Smart
Max looked at Viola and was stunned by the latter’s cold gaze. Her heart skipped a beat uncontrollably, and she faintly sensed a hint of danger.
After seeing that Max was finally a little scared, Viola snorted lightly.
“Tomorrow morning, someone will send you to the countryside residence, and bodyguards will be sent to watch over you. In the countryside, there are veteran servants of the McGraw family. They will make you do farm work day and day.
“Every day before sunset, you will be whipped ten times, then you will kneel in the yard and read the whole ‘Great Wisdom Scripture‘ to repent of your sins. When you finish the two steps, you can rest.
“You have to do it every day nonstop. What do you think? Don’t you feel I’m magnanimous?”
Max’s back froze. She was already weak, but her face turned paler at that moment.
She heard of that book which had 600 volumes with over 5 million words in total. She didn’t know if she could finish reading the whole book in one night.
Viola’s trick was tormenting.
“Viola, you are so ruthless.” Max looked up with unwillingness.
Viola looked at her and said coldly, “You took advantage of my sympathy for you to inject me with drugs, and you even pushed me into the water. Weren’t you ruthless? When you hired so many killers to take my life, weren’t you ruthless?
“You wanted to splash me with something containing Super 404, use Rebecca to harm me many times, encourage Lily to push Dad down the stairs, and fake my identity. You forced Bobby to stand on the same side as you, and you tried to seize the inheritance of the McGraw family. Who is ruthless? Me?”
While staring at Viola, Max smiled in relief, “I am very satisfied to be able to increase so many troubles in your life.”
After thinking of Bobby, she added, “Bobby doesn’t know much about many things until now. Don’t blame him. Blame me.”
“You deserve it, and I won’t forgive him either,” Viola said emotionlessly with a grim expression.
With that, Viola walked back to the couch and sat down next to Ormand.
Toby immediately went to pull Max up. Viola continued, “Lock her up in the basement tonight and send her to the countryside tomorrow morning.”
“Yes,” Toby replied. And then he asked, “Do you need her to pack?”
“No need. Those luxury jewelry, earrings, branded bags, and high–end custom–made make–up products… From now on, she will no longer need them.”
Max was carried away without the strength to struggle.
Before she was carried away, she was still looking back at Viola with a sneer. “Viola, you didn’t take my life this time. You will regret it.”
In the hall, with Max’s light laughter, the air was filled with a strange aura.
But without the help of Willard and Bobby, Max lost her capital to clamor. The few people sitting on the couches didn’t take Max’s words seriously with indifferent expressions.
Bentley never said a word from beginning to end.
After seeing that the matter was almost settled, he got up and said, “Viola, I plan to leave Salt Lake City the day after tomorrow to deal with the hospital matters in Philadelphia. I will come back on the day of your wedding ceremony.”
“All right.”
Viola simply agreed.
Bentley left, and Russell also stood up. “Sherlyn has been filming a reality show for outdoor survival in a village. I plan to visit her recently. When you get married, I’ll come back with her.”
Viola didn’t say anything and nodded.
They had gone through family chaos. Viola knew that both of them were unhappy and wanted to leave the McGraw’s place to change their moods and relax.
